Encouraging tactics by RamosPremier League Tottenham Hotspur by Adios Ramos (U3276869) 11 November 2007 Good win today. First game of the season I have been able to sit back and enjoy without feeling as though we could crumple at any point. Latest 10 commentsRead members' comments or add your own

mickgoogan (U10347581) posted Nov 11, 2007 Apart from a 10 minute spell at the start of the second half when Wigan started to press a little more effectively, we looked solid at the back for the first time since Derby. A good all round performance - Berbatov was keen for the ball, Lennon played well up against Kilbane, who is an experienced player, and Jenas broke well from midfield though we still need to work harder without the ball. A good start for Ramos and Gus though we still look unbalanced down the left, despite Malbranque's positive endeavours. Left winger in January? Comolli - get on it!

InEurope (U10250876) posted Nov 11, 2007 A very encouraging performance today against an admittedly poor Wigan side - where were their fans!! However, hopefully with the return of the injured players expected shortly, especially Bale we should be able to push on from this performance. COYS

spurs_7 (U7660600) posted Nov 11, 2007 My grandad has been a lifelong Spurs fan, and as of this evening he has passed away. I have no other way to say thankyou to Tottenham for bringing him so much joy over the years, he has supported them through thick and thin, and I was happy to see the last result he ever saw was Spurs winning. Things like this put football in perspective, but football brought so much happiness into his life, and i had to find a way to say thanku for him. Rest in peace grandad, i love you xxx

wezz912 (U10257929) posted Nov 12, 2007 Good win. 4-0 is not easy against any team. I am just really glad to hear poyet talk about concentrating on clean sheets. As a comment to the main article, Jol was never that negative at home and i really dont think Ramos has changed too much. Comment on this article
