i just cant stand much more of this - we have chelsea in two weeks (10-0 anyone) and a goal difference of ( at the minute ) minus 26 . we are fast becoming (or in most peoples eyes already are ) a national joke.

please Billy , just go.

Given that two of the recently appointed managers were Megson & Roeder i'd ask who exactly you think is around who could be appointed?
Derby need to stop feeling sorry for themselves and Davies needs to find some players there that are up for a fight. Yesterday was a disaster (i'm a Hammer & like all of us are more than slightly astonished that what was effectively our reserve team beat anyone 5-0 & hit the bar twice) but its about finishing fourth from the bottom. That still is not impossible .... unless you give up.

I think that is a rediculous remark 2 make. Where would Derby be without Billy Davies! I can honestly say i think you would be no more then a mid table championship side without Davies! Its mot Davies its the players, they aren't good enough! If you were to get rid of Davies who firstly in the right mind wold take over at Derby and if u think about it is there anyone decent enough out there who hasn't got a job at the moment?? Nope! Stick with Davies and bring some players in who are up for a fight this season.

"I just wanna say West Ham are very lucky to have a manager like AC...he suits WH to the ground!"

What's that supposed to mean exactly?

Sorry to say but Derby are a REALLY bad side and if I was a fan of the club I would be crying about now. I really can't see Derby winning anymore games this season. They will be 100% relegated this year finishing bottom. There results have been embarrassing. If they can't beat a really poor side like West Ham then there is no chance there gonna win any more games this season.
To be truthful there isn't 1 good player at the club that is Premiership quality. The manager is responsible for this. It also doesn't help when you are such a small club as Derby, then money is tight and also quality players just won't sign for them.
Derby seriously needs to prepare for championship football next season, that is for sure.
Well theres some good come out of it for the Derby fans this season. They get to see the likes of Ronaldo, Fabragas, Gerrard, Rooney, Tevez, Lampard and Torres tear your team apart. The fans should cherish this season as it will be a long time before they get to play with those type of players again. (Unless they get a luck FA Cup draw of course.)

To some people who have posted, I really hope somebody comes to kick you in nuts when you're down.

Derby and their fans need to stop wallowing. You knew it would be hard in this division and you're going to have to fight for it.

It's still early days in the season and you're not adrift yet. Goal difference doesn't mean anything, West Ham finished 5th with a negative goal difference a few years ago.

You just need some confidence and organisation.

I hope you prove these people wrong like west ham did last year.

OK - no gloating about Saturday's result.

Derby are playing the sensible game here when it comes to building a club for the PL. Unless you have major backing from a big investor then you have to build up the club slowly and invest the money from a PL season wisely to make the club stronger. This will involve a fair amount of yoyoing between divisions until you get it right but it seems that's how it's done.

Good luck with the rest of the season Rams ok

Derby fc has what it takes to remain in the Premiership only if they are consistent with their form of play, and resilient to the end of the match. If you watch most of their matches, winning means their opponents have to pile-up pressure before they can realise that. So, Derby has to learn how to sustain pressure by good defensive/midfield play, with surprise counter attack from one upfront to shake-up opponents defences. By so playing i think furtune will smile at them therby reassuring themselves of hanging on for this to reinforce for next season in the Premiership.

Billy-Please don't go.
Furtune might smile at Derby County, and there you are a-big-fish in the Premiership. Billy please don't listen to the voice of deceit, fou you may decide to leave to bigger club with huge transfer offers, but end up on the reserve bench like so many of your colleagues who jumped at peoples comments and left their budding clubs who managed to sustain remaining in the Premiership. Micah is one of those enjoying now because he hearkened to the voice of reasoning by remaining in Man C despite the rough last season. Now, he is banking on the blessing of restraint instead of rushing. So, i'm now saying to you - Billy, to by steadfast/hard working and watch what can happen in the future.

Bravooo.
