TO ALL THE DOUBTERS AT BOLTON

give megson a chance,if he keeps you in the prem you should give him the freedom of bolton

remember to keep the support of the manager
and he will come through, we have had this problem at everton
and the chairman has backed are manager 100%
now david moyes has one of the safest seats in the prem,so good luck for the season keep the faithok

Great result Wanderers. Do'nt think any other team in your group will go there and get anything, so you've given yourselves a great platform to move on from.
Would love to see a british team (well not the toffees) win the uefa cup. And before a bluenose makes a joke, yes i know we could well be in it ourselves :P

My thoughts on Bolton's performance? Naked terror! But then I'm a Boro fan. I can't even hope they tired themselves out as they appear to have fielded the reserves. Oh dear.

Fantastic performance last night from the lads and an great experience which only those who were there can ever appreciate! Great Atmosphere, Great Fans and a great spirit from the team with Nolan and Davies leading by example. Lets send the Boro packing in which is a massive game and we'll soon climb the table and realise that Nolan's last gasp goal at West Ham was the turning point in our season!

This article is long on what the BBC want you to think, short on what actually happened. There is no mention of Al Habsi's fantastic save at 2-1 that turned the game.I was at ground level 50 yards away and I still heard the thump as he punched it 7 feet in the air and over the bar.

Got back late last night so I'm still tired (with a capital K) but the result was magnificent considering it was a reserve team that we put out.

I'll leave detailed comments until I've recovered but it was something else to see so many Bolton fans in Munich. The downside was the a great stadium turned in to a circus by that stupid announcer and their fans acting like trained animals to his inane ramblings. The referee needs to be investigated for what was more than just incompitence and the police turned a supposedly friendly and welcoming city in to a no-go area.

Overall I enjoyed Guimaraes far more because the portuguese people actually seemed pleased to see us whereas the Germans just wanted us to go home.
