i'll be sad to see him leave, terrific serveant to the club but for his own good he probably has to go. if flamini leaves this summer i feel arsene will bring in a replacement rather than give gilberto his place back.

We should prepare to say goodbye to another masterclass. Gilberto still has a few years left in him but not with arsenal. Flamini is young and out to prove himself as we have seen this season. Sell Gilberto, make a profit and watch flamini bloom.

i hav to agree with TIMMY™ about eboue like i said in my last comment he was good at right bak bt since has been pushed into midfield he has been diving and also there hav been a cuple of times where his tackles were dangerous we dont need that at our club

what we need is a free scoring midfielder that can link up with adebayor and dont forget VP is bak bt wil need a cuple of games

man!! gilberto is the best midfielder and most exceprienced player in the arsenal squad i don't know why he's always bringing young players and selling star players like pires henry and reyes

i know it wont happen but if we stay up i'd like to see gilberto at Reading, Coppell has to pay more attention to players like this and stop thinking just coz we are not as big that we would be out the running to sign him. we want to become bigger and signing some big names will do that.

What? Best midfielder? Gilberto has NEVER been our best midfielder at the club since the day he walked in to Highbury. Last season he had an amazing start but faded towards the end, but overall he was good last year. THIS YEAR though, Gilberto has frankly been a complete and utter waste of space.

He is so far off the pace is scary. There is no running, no urgency, no tackles, ni fight, and most importantly no protection to either our defence or to Fabregas, which is what his job is. I worry when hes on the park, as its just inviting the opposition to attack us at will.

Dont get me wrong, hes been a fantastic servant for the club, but its time for him to go.

Gilberto is a great servant to the club and i will be very sad to see him go!!
However his performances this season have been awful (the few hes had). That is because hes a bit rusty.

If he does go i expect to see a replacement though!!
