Yossi Benayoun - England's big hopeEuro 2008 England by darrene6 (U2881865) 06 November 2007 Considering Englands main hope for qualifying for Europe, is Israel beating Russia, Yossi and his form for Israel i believe is going to be paramount. Considering he scored a hatrick for Liverpool all signs are looking good. England have to stay positive, qualification is still possible. Latest 10 commentsRead members' comments or add your own

keseak (U6669204) posted Nov 15, 2007 England really needed to wake up to realities by working earnestly when people are sowing their seeds, not by relying on Macedonia and Israel to Qualify for a tornament which they should have qualified for without any stress. England should mend fences and mobilize with their full stength for the offensive while they make hay like other big nations without banking on minors-even though there's no longer minor Nations in football ranking.

Trust me, with injuries or no injuries, England can beat those countries everything being equal. See the huge resources they have, a robust league with the human resources and the environment-home advantage and have you not. Think about it - advance for it England and you can make it.

keseak (U6669204) posted Nov 15, 2007 Israel, go for it or at least hold them at your door front to make a point for your teaming fans at home. Make an impact before you leave the scene like some years ago when we can bank on you when playing the ranks of England/France.

EyesontheAction (U5632170) posted Nov 15, 2007 What a sad campaign, and I'm sorry that Anton Ferdinand got into a tussle outside a bar; but that he was worried about his J125,000 diamond encrusted watch?? It shows the world these guys are living in, like rock stars. Shame and pitiful. I don't blaim the coach as much as I blaim the players.

kubiya (U2895722) posted Nov 15, 2007 Imagine this. Israel hold Russia or maybe even prevail with Yossi scoring, Macedonia capitulate as expected and then Croatia come to Wembley and England fail to win.
