We could have sat back and taken it easy once the score was 2-0 or 3-0 but we just carried on attacking, the crowd were well up for it, egging the players on to 'attack, attack'.

Well done to the boys, there confidence must have taken a battering losing to besiktas away then the draws against arsenal and blackburn, this can only boost it now for the next game on saturday at fulham and then the next CL game against Porto.

All the people who are bitching that Besiktas were a pub team, how the Flaming hell did they get into the CL if they are that bad. Jealousy is a bad thing.

Liverpool will do well this season, it may take a while longer for all the new players to fit into the liverpool way of playing but they played like a team who meant business last night, always harrowing the opposition to get possession back.

If i was a scouser i'd be very worried still despite an 8-0 win. why? because Marseille have 7pnts and next will play Besiktas and will sit on top with 10pnts, while Porto has 8pnts and will definitely come to Anfield for a draw since their last game is against Beskitas at Porto! No way will scousers beat Marseille at in France! Early exit in CL, and early fall in the title race, normal service resumed at Anfield after.....LOL!!!

it is a ghood performance by the mighty reds yes but why cant we do it consistently? because benitez rotates too much and players dont like unfamiliarity. I still do feel however liverpool will still qualify.
Was listenin 2 some muppet on 606 the other night complainign about dirk kuyt would anyone care 2 share some light on this as i feel kuyt, though he dont score goals is probably the hardest working player in the team week in week out criticised for playing up fornt on his own against blackburn in a 10 minute period he must be having a giraffe musnt he???
