Who could be the next Wigan boss? Could Paul Jewell make a return to the JJB Stadium or could they approach ex-spurs boss Martin Jol? Give us your thoughts on who you think could be the new Latics boss.

If you look at both squads you have to say that Birmingham have a superior squad, which i think if given the chance Bruce could take higher.

A lot lies on this Yeung backing him. A lot of talks gone on about him wanting rid of Bruce but i cant for the life of me see who would be more suited (and whos available) to replace him!?!?

Fair play to Wigan if they get him it would be a massive blow to Birmingham, but he would have to do some serious shopping in January to keep them up.

Bruce is a spineless money grabing manager if Wigan offer him more money he'll leave look at the rest of his career.

They offered jewell £40K a week and a million bonus, he will be off for anywhere near that.

What are you on about?? look at the facts Bruce has been manager at Blues for last 5 yrs- turned down approached from a number of clubs incl Newcastle/bolton & is happy in Brum- will only go if the Board allow him to speak to Wigan as that will be an indication that his future is not secure- hope the Board turn round & say thanks for the offer but NO!! Bruce is not money grubbing- is one of the best young managers maybe a bit tacticly naive but good at getting a half decent side together for relative peanuts

Who would blame Brucey for going? He'll get a 2 year contract and a bit of security. Brum are lucky he ain't already resigned!

Brucey is a good young(ish) manager, and some of that is down to Brum sticking with him as the club yo-yoed between the Prem and the FizzyPop League. I think he would've stayed if he thought that the backing he has had in the past was going to continue.
If he goes to Wigan, good luck to him. Brum then have to shop around for a good manager who will guide the team whilst the club is in a state of flux.
