Berba Situation

SPURS ONLY Tottenham Hotspur
comment on the article

Evening All,

So what is happening his agent has flown over to have discussions with Comolli (great). Last season he was fantastic without a doubt, this season though has the plaudits gone to his head.

I can understand he is frustrated with things at the moment and his head has been turned by Utd's interest he wants to win things. He can do this at Spurs we just need to settle down new manager new tactics and new players (poss Jan). He needs to show some loyalty to us (unfortunately loylaty is a dirty word in todays game)and I im not sure he will.

Question is if Utd bid £25mill in Jan do we take it or not. I say no lets wait until end of season regroup and see the situation if he wants to leave then, then well off he goes. Who will be blame for his departure then I think people will have a go at the board especially Comolli.

I hope he pulls his socks up and leads the team set the right example because in football no one likes a prima donna.

Please stay Berba the FANS love you and im sure the players and coaching staff will try there best to persuade him.

Oh and will have to change my nickname again....

Well Done Berba, you have done the right thing and restored my faith in Football.

If these are your true feelings, then the Spurs Fans will always be behind you. What ever happens in the Summer is another story - but for this season please help us out of this situation and get us back in the Top 6. A lot of the teams above us will have bad runs and our time will come. Looks like Newcastle have already started and West Ham/Aston Villa not far behind. Don't ask me about Portsmouth - there not human and I would be very happy if they take 5th and us 6th or 7th. It will happen - Spurs will come good - I promise.

Last season his style of play was exactly the same as it is now. Okay so he's not been immense this season but I have no doubt it will pick up. He went on a scoring drought last season as well. Last season people were saying that he looks so calm on the ball, it's almost like he is in slow motion, this season people have decided to change it to he is lazy, he looks disinterested. There are only two times last season where i remember berba celebrating intensely - 1) Wigan game at WHL because he hadnt scored for a while 2) Even more so at West Ham at Upton Park because that game just ran through his blood. Even at the start of his celebration he was relaxed but realised he couldn't control his emotions. That is actually his favourite goal from last season as well. He is playing the same game as last season but this time around its all negative. Typicall media, bring them up, make them fall!

now then what idiot said get rid of berba.

i knew he'd come good !!!!

U DONT SELL YOUR BEST PLAYERS.

Hes a confidence player and when hes full of beans he makes us look so good.
Ok it was only Wigan but a couple of weeks ago we'd probably not have won this fixture so easily.

Ramos is settling verrrry nicely indeed.

4 games. 3 wins. 3 cleansheets. 9 goals.

well said, armchair idiot fans wanting to get rid of probably our best play just because he had a poor start (along with a lot of our players)

Hes come out in public to say he happy and wants to stay, hes put in a quality performance in a good win, so these idiots should shut up or get behind him because he is class

I'll admit i was one of those who thought Berbatovs head and hearts wasnt in it. However, after this statement and recent good results, i wish i kept the faith a little better.

Like everyone always knew, its amazing what a few back to back wins can do.
