India and Pakistan start a five-match one-day series on Monday.

It is sure to be a closely-contested series and you can follow all the action through our live commentaries on the BBC Sport website.

How do you think the series will go?

Pakistan should put malik at number 4 because when younis & yusuf the run rate drops i also think afridi & butt should open the batting. I wonder which pakistan turns up at the next match.

after imran khan's retirement, pak team is not the same spirited unit as once was. first and major problem is opening pair, than spinners, middle order havent got many match winner batsmen who can turn matches upside down. like in 90's there were basit ali, javed miandad, inzamamul haq, imran khan and many more. but these days there are only two players i.e. M.yousaf and younis khan, once they got out, than seems no hope..... I pray for Pak team to become strongest as they were once both in bowling and batting.

Sir I think Im not being emotional, it is called being Patriotic and the love for the game.
Its also not about me not liking the stats because they incline in Pakistan's favour.
I will reiterate the fact that India is doing well as a team and Pakistan is struggling to produce a combined results. Pakistan needs to get united themselves as a team.
India never had a problem where team spirit is a concern, its just they loose on the merits of their performance on the day.
And the stats will be in India's favour in no time.

You are right.
The best team will win the series.

The Indians without doubt will win the series but not so easily as i can for see Pakistan coming back. If i were to choose the winner i would choose Pakistan. There are rebuilding.

I think if Shaid Afidi realize that he is the most important player in the team, & play some sinsible cricket then no one can stop Pakistan to win the series, Afridi & Shoaib will be the Key cards for Pakistan & be great threat for India,
on other side Yuraj & Harbajen will be Key & real threats for Pkistan.

I pray for Pakistan to become a unit.

This is the weakest Pakistani side visiting India in the past 20 years. Pakistan will loose badly in this series.
