Well done Chelsea. But, like I earlier metioned, I am yet to see Ten Cate's input in their play. I thought he was brought in to make the team play like the Barca team of two previous seasons. Comment, pls.

-------------------------
The fact is that Ten Cate is not a magician,he can only bring in what he acquired in his with Barca and like he said, it took barca 3 years to form that solid team and too bad since Cate left barca is crumbling and unstable till date.We don't have to play like barca cos they are not same players, but we can play similarly as individual players and skills are not same at both clubs.
For the kind of game we have been playing,Cate is known for an attacking game and he can't just sit there and get paid without doing nothing.The city game was a prove of his presence and scoring another 4 in the week and now 2 isn't bad.when u are playing attacking game doesn't mean u would record more than 2 goals every week,it depends on on your opposition and for the next few weeks could be over 4 goals again.there were games barca won 1-0 despite how they play.If chelsea could play this great in 6 weeks then what do u think in the next season or 2?we have the players, we are versatile combining skill,ball on the ground passing game,power,never say die spirit,experience and strenght.This is something many teams don''t have even barca or Arsenal.They have some qualities from the above mentioned but can't compare power and strenght when it comes to chelsea.so combining all these we would be greater than now. For cate the truth is we are still lacking 2 good strikers that can really dribble with good skil also good finishers and that the new style would suit,till we bring in players with skill the kind of game we are playing now would not be beautiful and j.cole has been giving us something to smile about.I guess Van de vaart can try to bring the Robben style,swp needs more experience and developmentcos he would be better when his final touch makes good meaning in most occassions.

Drogba is becoming annoying with his comments, he should leave he wants to ans shut up for God sake.
I hope to see Anelka,Hunterlaar,Lulinha and van de vart to name a few. Ronaldinho is just too costly and would be another gamble cos his form is down.

Chelsea has great chance to win the league, i believe we can be the one to beat Arsenal, perhaps United and Liverpool could watch.I'm glad we are tied with pool in the carling cup,united were lucky not to play chelsea at this time that we have regrouped and playing briliant football,it would have been open and i would stick my neck for chelsea.Their game against Arsenal was also poor, just fortunate to score those goals one from a deflection and a brilliant pass from saha.

Chelsea are back in business. If they keep this form until the end of the year and Liverpool keeps dropping points, it may end up a 3-way race with Chelsea, Man U and Arsenal fithing for the title this year. It will be intersting to see how Chelsea will fare in Jan and Feb when they lose their African quartet just like Ports..

I just like the aura on here, in this Chelsea forum - the aura of humility. Please, You Chelsea fans, remain humble: do not be like the fans of Manchester United together with their Manager, Sir Alex Fergusson who do not seem to know about humility. Sir Alex Fergusson has, once more attacked a ref again - I mean Howard Webb. In the Man United/ Chelsea match this season, all Sir Alex Fergusson could say was that the actions cancelled themselves out. He said J. Cole deserved a red, etc. He never mentioned that Mikel never deserved a red in that encounter. He also never frowned at the controversial Saha penalty. All these were like his defending of the "always diving" Ronaldo last season. And in the Arsenal / Man United forum, none of the prejudiced fans mentioned about Sir Alex Fergusson's unbecoming attacks on everybody. If it were JM, everybody would have called for his head. Chelsea fans, like I said, remain humbbe - don't be like the gloating Man United fans or less gloating Arsenal fans. I would be surprised if BBC publishes my comment though.

Advice taken.we are always humble and will remain humble while taken up the vital points<Ok>
BLUES FOR LIFE<ok>

thank god we are winning again, but i hate to hear this stories going arouned that mourinho is not a high scoring manager.agree we are playing positive football now but the commitment is not there, mourinho will not tolerate players who dont give their best for the team. i dont want to mention names but its absolutely disgusting to see players strolling on the pitch when they are suppose to be moving with the tempo of the game.

we should not expect Ten Cate to do magic over night with this team even though we have the best collection of players in the EPL.we need these players in Jan. van der vart for sidwel,queresma for SWP,Huntaalar for DD. for heaven sake we dont need ronaldinho bcos he has past his peak unless for commercial purposes.

The ruth aint too far, Chelsea are showing more conidence in going forward. The team is actually trying to do whatfans want/deserve o see...their moneys worth..GOALS. With this kind of play, more players are motivated as they know they all can go forward when required and score a goal. Goals bring joy, the fans love it, the press, and the club owners..money is made. Sorry to say, bt JM was anti-goal scoring from multiple players. Most players were like porns under JM. AV is giving every player in the team an opportunity and we can now see the true abilities of all players. I dont knw aany player who would come to a club and would be contentd to not scoring a goal through out his time with a club. JM had that culture shaped upp in chelsea,added with his glory hunting. Chelsea will play better football to earn the club a better foundation for future years to come just like AW has done for Arsenal.

<C'mon Arsenal.>
