Reduce the offer!!!

His scoring record doesn't look that impressive.

13 goals in 34 games ....in french football.

He could reduce the offer, or just buy someone decent who may actually score!

The guy is 25, and so isn't going to get much better. Wenger would have been better off going for Jan Huntelaar.

7.5million is good deal for a player with a year left on contract,but i think both clubs can sit,talk and come to a reasonable end cos Chamakh really needs the move and Arsenal really need the kid so with time (maybe the last few days to close the window) bargain will be thick..let's watch and see.....i just hope it's all good for Arsenal.

7.5 sounds quite a lot for a player who will leave on a free next year, i'd go for a midfielder. even in january he'd go for about 3 mil.

It's very strange because in France, it sounds the offer was 6M£ and here i hear 7.5. This player is very important and even if he can join arse in one year freely, we can't accept an offer so ridiculous. His true value is 10 M€(9M£) about and if he had a 2 or 3-year contract, his value would be 18 or 20M€ when you see Gomis transfer for 15M€ to Lyon. I hope Asnl will make a new offer lightly higher in order to unblock the situation and satisfy player's volunty

He'll be free in January. He's only got 5 months left on his contract, thats why 7.5 million is a good price. My guess is that Bordeaux are holding out but will probably take the money towards the end of the window.

arna1do, you don't know Chamakh and his true value to say what you said like many other londonians. Chamakh takes part of the top-players in Bordeaux. His part is as important as Gourcuff and Diarra in the last title 4 months ago. All our goals come from Chamakh. Bordeaux isn't requiring but Wenger is very light in his bids. I hope he will go to Hammers who are more honnest with his value. It's not because Bordeaux isn't mediatized that we have bad players.
