DEFINITION OF A BRUCE HATER

Birmingham

In the light of the performance yesterday I am now becoming well aware which people are the true Bruce haters.

SOTV I take my hat off to you as you can see where credit is required even if your not the biggest bruce fan. Millard too is man enough to give credit.

The Swindonburger boy has decided its easier to go to ground than give credit and then we have a certain individual who lives in the bubble of the good old days can come to the conclusion below.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

we are already in the bottom three.
the table does not show it yet.
but there are two teams down there that will not be there by christmas.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Quite frankly these are shameful views and proof to me that this kind of supporter would be pleased to see us lose.

Thankfully this fan openly admits he doesn't go. More annoying that he feels his views without seeing the blues are apparently more qualified than those of us who attend. It appears the bruce hate crew is shrinking....

Are you sure your not a closet Villain???

I think 70s must always be right and the fact that he predicts our relegation means that he wants it to happen... therefore he wants us to lose every game just to prove hes right... true?

Its a hypothesis... not what I think... at least I hope I am wrong.

I am concerned that people think we're (Bluenoses) gonna change things overnight.
Lets face it we're used to dis-appointment but look at what Brucie has done for us last year and this.
Ok so we're not in top 10. Who though ever thought we would be.
We have been so strong against all the BIG teams taking a point at Liverpool, Man U we controlled the match and ok we lost but 1-0 mistake.
Chelsea we scored two goals against them.
Who has just ran all over us this year 'Middlesborough' Thats it!!
Get behind Steve Bruce 'lads and lasses' he's doing it for us.

We're Birmingham We're Birmingham We're Birmingham City!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;-D

I am not a Bruce Hater far from it, however the crowd started chanting 4-4-2 after the 2 goals- both defensive howlers from normally excellent players- Ridgewell & Kelly/taylor- what on earth was going on there?? However very impressed with the bottle shown by the team whereas 2 years ago their heads would have dropped they were up and at it again & again- but it did show we needed someone like O'Connor on from the start- apart from the 2 goals Kapo looked out of sorts & out of position- De Ridder looked excellent & Larsson was good when he came on - by the way Schmidt looked the part in the centre of defence & worked well with Ridgewell- all in all even with players not playing in their best positions Blues did well- just hope we improve before the Vile game.

"just hope we improve before the Vile game."

I'd imagine they're probably thinking the same thing after a 4-1 hammering at home from Man Utd and scraping a draw against bottom-of-the-table Bolton!erm

Bruce HAS been given a chance to prove his worth. He got the team relegated the last time and will probably do the same again. Nice guy, probably so - but if the new buyer wants to make Birmingham a force he needs to get shot of someone who is only going to waste the money on second rate clowns.

sorry- I never said his signings are second rate- Schmidt/larsson/Muamba/Nafti/Kapo/De Ridder/Ridgewell are far from second rate & better than the players we were relegated with- however the prem has moved on & we need to keep pace- Bruce knows what is needed & hopefully Yeung will give him the money to get them -

70's Child, how is the statement about Bruce being the best manager we've had for 20 years pathetic? It's only a statement of fact. Regardless of what competition he's had, he has taken a Championship team who's fans had not tasted top flight football in 16 years and given them 5 out of 6 seasons in the Premier League. That is, in my opinion, an acheivement in it's self and worthy of recognition.

Callitquits, your comments have no basis whatsoever. What 2nd rate clowns did he buy? Heskey? Upson? Pennant? He may have got us relegated once, but he has got us promoted twice. Please try to be objective instead of just focusing on one particular fact.

A newly promoted team needs to concentrate on staying up initially. That should be our main focus of attention, the short term next few seasons and trying to establish ourselves as a comfortable mid-table team. Only then can we attract decent quality players and hope to be able to play attractive attacking football. Until then we have no choice but to battle and try to make it as difficult as possible for other teams to play against us.

I've been to the last two matches and have been impressed by the blues. I believe Bruce has done a good job with us but never understand his tactics....against Man City we were 1-0 down at stayed with one upfront until 80mins and played well for 10mins. Against Wigan started with 4-5-1 at home against a average team, went down changed to 4-4-2 and played well. If in the next home match bruce plays same tactics he deserves some stick!!!!

PS. Anyone claiming Kelly is an excellent player is mental!!!
