Juande Ramos is now head coach at spurs.
i heard that he can't speak much english, that will be a set back but i'm sure hes learning as we speak
i think spurs will finish 5th (again) under ramos, he could well be the new 'special one'!

just amazes me that a few hours ago all spurs fans were going on about Jol, and now the new man is in (like the other new men that spurs appoint) it's all glory glory days again .

We have seen this all before, all the Spurs fans getting hyped up with their new managers, and then booing them off the pitch a few months later. ,Pleat,Ardilles, venables, gross, francais, graham,SANTINI,Jol and now Ramos,I have probably missed some out, but how many managers has it been ???

As for them finishing 5th this season, are you on crack ??

For the first time ever I purchased a Tottenham calendar for 2007. Each month representing a player and wait for it December shows Martin Jol, ironic therefore that he is no longer there. Sure he got £5 million pay off but is this really the way we want football to go? I am disgusted with TH's board and feel very angry that this is just another example of greed, disloyalty and the nasty pieces of work that pollute the game. Call me naive but I hate the way the game has evolved. I am done with Spurs and could not care less where they end up and I have supported them since I was a little kid.

in all fairness 2 the fans it was the board who pushed him, not the fans. I liked jol he was/is a good manager and i wish him luck wherever he ends up.

Can't help feeling Ramos has made the biggest mistake of his career.

He's leaving a team that he has done exceptionally well with collecting a bagful of decent trophies with them and has taken a job at Spurs, lol, poor bloke doesn't know what he's let himself in for.

Seriously though, if you were given the chance to manage a Premier League side, would you choose Spurs? And I'm not saying as opposed to Liverpool, Man U or Arsenal, I'm thinking more like Bolton, Fulham or Derby!

There will be an improvement early on, as the players will bust a gut to try and impress the new manager, but what happens around Christmas will determine the rest of the season. Will it be another Keane/Sunderland success story, or another Gross mistake?

I hope there's some divine divine justice and it all goes t*ts up for Spurs this year, as both the board and Ramos behaved appallingly.
