He's had 7 million to spend, which is peanuts bringing in players like Kapo,De Ridder & Smitz. We are a better side now than last time we were in the Premier. After rebuiding another team from scratch (which is hard to do!) we produce good performances week in week out.
We're playing with confidence, our heads don't drop when we go behind.
Even though we've only picked up 1 point from the previous 4 games, we were very unlucky.
I'm not getting carried away with 1 win, but is Bruce no good for Blues and a poor manager?
If we lose Bruce and bring in Paul Jewell (who has been mentioned on numerous occasions) we wouldn't get these players like Kapo who only come here because of Bruce's name.
As regarding 4-5-1 we have scored 3 goals & created many other chances using this system, and when we went 4-4-2 we created less. I've said it before stick with Bruce & we will finish 14 or 15th in the table, imagine what he could do with 30 million to spend, come on HATERS what do you think?

first things first.
i slag off jerome and according to the next comment, its anti bruce clap trap,
then with in the next 5 postings, the same bloke calling me names for my disloyalty is stating that jerome couldn't hit a barn door.
priceless.
not one of you have picked up on the muamba claim of mine,
for 18 months now, the bloke has failed to hit a 10 yard ball.
if that's the modern game, i feel for you all.
and finally, no matter what you lot think of me, even if we were 10-0 down, i wouldn't slag of the manager, or any individual team member during the game.
if you want to voice an opinion after the game that's different.
finaly
if kapo was playing up front, his work rate in tracking back would not be so vital, and to be honest, he isn't much different to mcsheff in that respect.
in my opinion neither are suited to being stuck with midfield responsibilities.
footnote;
it would appear that once again, just like last year, forssell has dropped off bruces radar and because we have cobbled together a few results, jerome looks set to be a lone striker for the rest of the season.
bruces target for him,
15 goals, which will mean we will have to create 150 chances for him.
i don't see it happening.

70's imo Muamba is one of our best players, if you actually went to a Blues game you would see what he does and what he brings to the team. He covers a lot of ground and some of his tackles are class, he wouldnt be loved if he kept giving the ball away.

Bruce might get a lot of stick for playing nafti and Muamba but it makes us so hard to break down which is why we are so hard to beat.

To be honest 70's i think if you are going to post on here and be negative towards your players you should at least make some effort to get to a game or atleast watch the game on the internet.

Muamba woooh Muamba woooh
He was a refugee and now he's quality

Tell me 70's why do fans idolise him so much if he's so poor yet again a player you have seen about 4 or 5 times where as we have seen him 45 times and your opinion matters....Yeah right..

The game is just as much about winning the ball as playing with it.

Muamba is the best ball winner since Savage and the best thing is he is a lot younger BIGGER and STRONGER and has plenty of times to develop.

His shooting ability is poor thats it.

You dont play international football at every level and be a poor player. When he's a man he will then play for the full team.

REMEMBER WHO TOLD YA!!

The arguments that Bruce hasn't been supported by using the £7m figure don't stack up.

All players that are brought to the club eat up the income that we receive.

A perfect example is De Ridder who was a free transfer, but still costs somewhere between £1.5m-£3.0m in wages and other costs every year.

To be fair, if he fulfils the potential he showed yesterday, he will have been a great piece of business by Bruce and the board.

As for not accepting Mido's clauses in a £9m
deal, I think Bruce and the board got out of jail because I don't think he will ever have more than the couple of good seasons that he had in the past.

It makes me laugh this does.

Am i to presume that Sunderland, for instance, spent £35m on players in the summer but their players play for free, that's very decent of them, although i guess if they only train for say 14 hours a week and play for an hour and a half on saturday they can still claim benefits.

Hes been injured... right?

Cobbled together a few results??? get real! you dont have a good word to say about the Blues do you!

"bruces target for him, 15 goals, which will mean we will have to create 150 chances for him. i don't see it happening."

Luckily, what you think and reality are two entirely different things, Jerome may or may not get 15 goals... its his TARGET.

Anyway, we play the Vile soon... who do you want to win ???

Seriously, I WONDER!

i was speaking to kilkenny at david lloyd the other month before he went on loan.. and he brought up a interesting fact... muamba looks so good tackling and that which he is good at.. hes a machine! but he gives the ball away and then gets it back like he enjoys it.. he cant pass or shoot.. but 70's child he is quality at what he does.. breaks up play. like jerome he needs to work on his weaknesses then he'll be a top player.

muamba is a quality player at what he does, brakes up play and also gets the croud going whilst doing so, very similar to a certain momo sissoko
