I am really happy that United are back to their standard now. Its good to see that United play really well yesterday against Villa. People are saying that the red cards in the match was harsh but to me, i did not see anything like that. And i am really happy that United has win the match already before the end of the first halv. All the enemies would have been saying that we United win because the players are sent off. There is no miracle that would have make Villa to draw that match at the second halv and not to mention winning. Good work United and please try to do well in the champions league this season because, i really want that as a good United fan.

Utd were outstanding against a dogged Villa side. Some of the interplay was top quality, fast, accurate passing and superb movement off the ball. Roo and Tev are going to wreck most defences this season. I doubt we would have conceded if Vidic had been playing but Pique looks a good player in the making and this is by far the strongest squad we have had for years.

with seven wins on the trot, some good, some bad some indifferent, what a complete turn around from the opening couple of weeks.

I do think that tevez had a lot of adjustments to make, considering how little time he had to fit in with united, but it's clear that his work-rate, imagination and touch will serve united extremely well in the premiership.

it may well be that rooney gets more goals now, as he is not the sole focus of attention for defenders anymore.

it's strange but somehow ronaldo doesn't seem so essential anymore. perhaps that's a good thing as it will pressure him into more productivity and less show-pony performances.

Excellent performance. Credit to Villa because they tried to take the game to us in the first half and were good value for their lead, even if the goal was questionable (initial barge into the keeper and then Moore crossing the keeper's line of sight from an offside position).

The squad seems to be growing stronger now, especially with the likes of Anderson and Pique stepping up to the plate. I fully expected Brown to partner Rio, but Pique showed what a talent he is and slotted in quite comfortably. I do think Rio missed the physicality that Vidic usually brings though. Also, Brown's retention at right back is testament to his own performances in that position this season. His support play in particular has improved.

It was noticeable that we didn't have a holding midfield player in the team, but we dominated possession enough to not let that be an issue. Really excited about our future, with the likes of Anderson and Nani coming in to the side to add to Ron, Roo and Tevez!

United...truely awesome! Wouldn't you agree Mr Lawro?

Rooney...fantastic, put the Russia result behind him and got on with it. Good professional attitude. I think we might see a more mature Rooney this season! Tevez...second amazing game in a row for United. His work rate is brilliant and his play making is clever. He is starting to fit in and show he has real class!

Also, in fairness, well done to Pique and Anderson...had to fill Vidic and Carricks shoes respectively and I thought they did very well!

We have to drop Zat Knight, a pub player would have defended better.
