hamadl (U3473599) posted Oct 21, 2007 Congratulations Kimi. Overall, the best driver won and ofcourse it was in a Scuderia. McLaren and their drivers have damaged Formula 1 and Hamilton, whilst a rookie must take part of the blame for his politics and actions. Hopefully, next year the drivers will stay the same and we can see a proper fight on the track and not in the courts or media.

tiespleschur (U9672889) posted Oct 21, 2007 It’s just right in my mind that Kimi won WDC from outside odds, by sheer determined manoeuvring in the opening lap and consistent pace throughout coupled with A1 support from team not to mention Philippe. Nothing dirty from Kimi all season, he began in Melbourne how he intended to finish and more wins than the rest.

AliZaid (U3390972) posted Oct 22, 2007 The good news is that LH has gained experience. He will no more act as a rookie next year. And no more bickering with the future partner. At least I hope so. And hey, he wasn't dreaming of a place in the top 10 at the start of the season. Finishing #2 and an overnight celebrity is a fairy-tale dream comes true.

musicrulezz (U8217898) posted Oct 22, 2007 good one, straight talk. Too many factors involved in this sport that are out of drivers' hands. Schumacher too, had to struggle with Ferrari in 1996 with all their reliability problems. Mclaren has been fantastic this season with reliability, imagine LH when things are not going so good. That's when we would see true character.

FlamingCarbuncle (U6893887) posted Oct 25, 2007 Let's imagine Kimi gets himself a reliable car next year that can handle his speed and just maybe he can win 18 races! All joking/bitching aside if you study the year, take Kimi's 6 win's and then add each race he was leading when his car expired, he would have walked it. What I want to see is racers racing flat out every race, 15 points for first and 10 for second, 7, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Make it imperative to win then we'll see more overtaking, more tantrumas and more entertainment. Comment on this article
