DROGBA TO DEMAND MOVE?

Premier League Chelsea

Didier Drogba claims "nothing can stop me from leaving" Chelsea, according to quotes attibuted to him in France Football.

The Ivory Coast star has become unsettled in west London following the departure of manager Jose Mourinho.

Drogba has found Mourinho's departure hard to take and with Milan and Real Madrid circling, he admits he wants out of Stamford Bridge.

He told France Football: "I want to leave Chelsea.

"Nothing can stop me from leaving now. Something is broken with Chelsea.

"The damage in the dressing room is big because we know now what happened and who caused Mourinho's departure."

Drogba insisted that no matter who Chelsea might sign next summer - he did not want to play for the Blues beyond this season.

"I know that Ronaldinho and Kaka are linked to come next season but even that won't change my mind," he continued.

.....Thoughts? Obviously I hope this isn't true as Drogba is a huge player at Chelsea and would be very difficult to replace.

Re AKARRA2007.

Having been to a Chelsea v Vermin match with my young son and having been surrounded by hoards of swearing drunken Pool fans bleating on about history and class, I can safely say that my dog has more class than you lot and infinitely more pedigree. As for history, it’s in the past mate. You should be more concerned with the future. The Tinker man has morphed into Raffa and you’re owned by the Yanks. Get off your high horse, you're no better than the rest of us.

Now I m beginning to down the soundness of Drogba's mental facaulties. He does not seem to be able to take a stand. "Today he announces that he would like to leave Chelsea and tnen the next day he regrets and apologises for what he has juist announced. My advice to Drogba, " If u r not happy at Chelsea do not stay but if you r happy then stay, otherwise just keep your mouth shut!"

Drogba should be left alone instead of being questioned like this. I support liverpool and maybe not my interest to chat but I think Drogba has made football at chelsea interesting. People want to ask questions then when they get the answer they don't want they moan. Drogba gave his answer and nobody likes it. Let him be and respect his feeling!

He gave an interview. He is now being asked to explain himself. Can't see the problem.

If Drogba wants to go, let him. It seems he's not going to be the only player considering his future at Chelsea come the summer.
As has been said already, no one player is bigger than the club.

I think theres a lot of rival fans posting here who are desperate to see the back of Drogba!!!

Whoever said Drogba will be fine in a few days deserves a cookie. He does this sort of thing every year and then plays unbelievably well to make up for it. I was hoping that Drogba would be happy by the end of the season but it only took a couple of days! At the end of the day it looks like Chelsea are keeping the most dangerous striker in the Premiership.

It was not the players who sent Mr Mourinho away, but the board. Your info is wrong. No doubt you will be speaking well of those 'Deceitful players, if Chelsea win the Premiership.

Drogba is an honest and skilful player, and Chelsea should hang on to him. As for Chelsea, being finished, and Mr A leaving, you are presumptious, and pessimistic.

It was too much to expect Mr Ericsson, to give Chelsea any credit for their convincing win over 1-0 Man City. It was the a la Ferguson routine, a whinge about his team's failings. At least the manager of Ipswich's opponents, another team on the wrong end of a 6-0 scoreline, was gracious. he uses the same low scoring tactics, as he did when England Manager, with varying degrees of success, then, and now.

However one cannot expect too much from a national of a country, that has been neutral during two World Wars, and produced 'Boring Borg.' a BBC favourite. whistle
