I don't care

Euro 2008 Scotland

So we've lost in a most pitiful fashion. So we looked second best in every department tonight. So now we need to beat the world champions.

So what?

Did anyone really expect there not to be a hitch along the way? After the outstanding result on Saturday I genuinely felt we were almost certain to screw up tonight. Better in Georgia than in the game that REALLY matters in a month's time.

People may be downhearted, but think about it; we are a single victory from the Euro championships. Irrespective of who we're playing (if it was San Marino would you really feel any more confident? It is Scotland after all) all we must do is claim all three points. Brown will be back, as will Hartley, Hutton and a fit Fletcher, what more could we want?

Now it's time to show why we are the best fans in the world and be the twelfth man that derails the Italians and sends them homewards...

...tae think again.

'Mon the Scots.

Well said braveheartjags, and man_Ufan, no - you shut up. We're in a better position than you (assuming you're English by your arrogance).

Good luck Scotland, you deserve some now. As for English fans, all you have to do is put yourselves in the place of Russian fans and think how full of joy they are. They deserve it. Cheer them on now.

Italy are unbeatable at the moment, they are back to their World Cup form and in a month's time they'll be even fitter. Scotland need to attack now and that will do their game, rock solid defending and great on the counter. Let's pray at least for a draw and for a French defeat in Ukraine.

I'm from Malta and my favourite two nations are Scotland and Italy and really hope both will go through.

What a great evening! Scotland lose, France win! Now hopefully Italy can do us the job (and am confident they will) and we'll hopefully just go for fun to Ukraine! ALLEZ LES BLEUS!

P.S.: Am a lil' sad for England, but not to much though! laugh

Not to worry last night we needed 4 points to qualify and now we only need 3.

yeah sure mate. Now you think you can make short work of italy and you just fear their diving antics...when will you brits stop stereotyping...scotland are a fairly good side...but just a couple of players are above average.they have home advantage of course and probably the best support when it comes to national football...I remember you lot in bari and you were great...but..italy playing at their best are infinitely superior to scotland...would you disagree on that? So stop talking about cheating and taking this sham moral stand...everyone is at it not just the despicable tallies...I sincerely wish you all the best if you make it to the euro finals...the scottish side are tough well organised and have balls (qualities the overpaid and overrated lads south of the border seem to lack)...but talking about ball skills only I honestly think that 4 teams at least are better than scotland in the group(yeah I mean ukraine and georgia ) I saw both games...

good luck anyway you're lovely people and I wish you all t the best
