A dissapointing result in Moscow. Im not going to lie to you, i see no light at the end of the tunnel. But I must admit Steve McClaren has proved the critics wrong, he got the tactics, the selection spot on. He's learnt from his mistakes made in previous matches and I believe he should stay on.

If we get another Manager, He's bound to slip up at one point (like all managers do), but now that McClaren has learnt from his mistakes i believe he is the right man to take England Foward.

I must admit, i was one of his BIGGEST critics, but in the last few months his bravery in selection has been great.

Every England player gave their 100% today, played their hearts out and threw their bodies infront of the ball at every instance, infront of a hostile crowd in an intimidating atmosphere, with all the mind games surrounding the match (on the plastic pitch)

Sol Campbell was immense and in my opinion undroppable. Although i wouldnt drop Rio or Terry or Micah, Campbell is undroppable.

...one more point...
ask UEFA, why England must qualify in Euro!?
why football pygmy like San-Marino, Liechtenstein, Luxemburg, Latvia, Estonia, Macedonia, Croatia, Andorra etc, etc, and Israel(must play in Asian area) playing with YOU? We are forefather nation of football, why should we play with ... Lets have Group A countries, like Germany, Italy, France, England, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands and play the EURO CUP final...but You will never win...because you got defeat from Croatia, Russia, draw to Macedonia, Israel. That's your level...

i heard the after match interview with gerrard he said after 1 goal up he thought they could hold on. with that mentality we will not go far,if he reflected the managers thinking we need a change.

face facts.

1) We have 300 foreign players here in England and we as a world class side have exactly how many of our internationals playing abroad...errrrrrrr Beckham

2) We drone on about having the best league and it does our internationals good to have so many quality players to play against-Funny..the more foreign players we get the lower we sink in the rankings???

3) Exactly how many Italian Internationals play in the EPL

4) How many Spanish Internationals play in the EPL?

5) How many Barzilian Internationals play in the EPL

Now how many of these countries top teams come in for an Englishman..

Inter Milan bid £40 million for Lampard,Gerrard,Rooney,etc.etc.etc...

We are deluded by our maggot media that we are a good side just because we won the World Cup we hosted...We have failed for 40 years to win and although we claim to have the best league in the world it would seem its not producing English players the rest of the footballing giants want to sign...

It's because the EPL is the best league in the world, why would you want to leave it?

I would say that ONE OF (not the only) reason why so few English play abroad is simply because we are so pathetic when it comes to learning other languages and respecting foreign cultures.

Those that are a bit more cosmopolitan have actually been a success, EG McManaman and Beckham. Owen and Woodgate didn't do that badly either, but Real is not a club who will ever show you any sort of patience or loyalty.

the only reason mclaren picked the players he did was because of the injury crisis, he never would have had the guts to drop lampard and replace barry without lampard having an injury
