It's breaking news! news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foo... bit late for this sort of thing to happen but hes been sacked
donachies dismissal has not shocked me at all though, this season they have been dreadful and after last seasons fantastic finish, he deserves to be sacked, teams like millwall shouldn't be at the foot of any table never mind league one
well done millwall, the correct decision

today peter taylor and willie donachie, tomorrow peter grant and stuart mccall! football rocks

What I dont understand is you get one win now and youre practically mid-table. Last year you had Byfield and hubertz and both were sold by your board im guessing and not replaced amongst others. Its Willies first job, so he needs to scout players and I didnt see him getting much help. Its a shame thats all because last season you lost one game with his managing that kept you getting in the play-offs! I think its millwalls loss

Willie did a good job to keep us up last season but he lost the plot during the summer. There were rumours that Byfield was unhappy but he still got rid of Williams and Hubertz. He only brought one new striker in (Alexander) and has let May go out on loan. We are now left with Harris and Alexander and can't sign anyone permanent until January. Its lack of goals that has left us at the bottom of the league. Willie's tactics and team selections were also open to question. Hackett never got a chance to establish himself and he played Smith, a natural left winger, on the right. A year on and we are in the same position as when he took charge so he had to go. However, because we don't know what goes on behind the scenes there is no guarantee that a new manager will do any better.

i will always blame the board before a manager. it doesnt matter who we putin after willie they wont have the resources to change anything, we've sold our best n replaced with shit...

willie kept us in this league last season and this is the thanks he gets....

weve had like 6 managers since wisey n the board have done sod all to help n e of them...u know what heather rabbats n the rest of ya....swivel

Steve King at Lewes is a good bet - taken club from nowhere to edge of Conference.

We NEED a revolution, someone to buy the club because the board has shown it doesnt know how to invest in players, or managers/directors that can invest in players. This has been going on since McGhee, I see people being bought by the likes of Bournemouth (when they were in administration) and we dont buy any quality players. Even Byfield was suspect injury prone when bought, turned out well so we sold him...
