Uncannily he went down holding his face and was carried off on a stretcher again. It proves the guys got form."

nowaytommy (U9390568) posted Oct 8, 2007 Celtic have done their bit... banned that twit for life... Now Uefa must do their bit and sort Dida out the guy's a disgrace. His compatriot Rivaldo ruined his reputation against Turkey for the same nonsense .. acting..It drives me bonkers. The big girls blouses!!

graydo79 (U2708374) posted Oct 8, 2007 Although the Celtic fan was wrong for coming onto the pitch and "wiping a spec of dandruff from Dida's shoulder", Dida should certainly be punished for his disgraceful behaviour. It is that kind of reaction that so frustrates the paying fans, and cheats many results.

scottie67 (U9959894) posted Oct 10, 2007 fair enough the fan should not been on the pitch which he has now been banned for life, but trying to fake an attack in order to have our much astonishing win over the european CHAMPIONS taken away from us, so yeah he should be punished. he should have given him a kick up the backside but no, he had to hit the deck like a bunch of bricks holding his face when it was the top of his shoulder he was ticked on. he's a big sissy

heedtheminski (U9896547) posted Oct 12, 2007 CFC get a slap on the wrist and Dida gets banned for 2 games, where is the justice in that? It's now open season for fans to run onto the pitch and attack players. Dida should take out a civil action against Celtic or the idiot that ran onto the park and claim for loss of earnings, defamation of character and anything else he can think off. He reacted as he did because he was assaulted, security was lax, so much so that the stewards helped the idiot back into the stand. If CFC had had their house in order the incident would not have happened and as such they should be held accountable.

heedtheminski (U9896547) posted Oct 12, 2007 the real world, face the facts celtic were wrong, it is their duty to protect players and fans and as usual they failed to do so. the biscuit tin mentality has never gone from parkhead, employing their own stewards who not even registered with the authorities, cheapskates. They will earn mega money from the Champions League, so spend it and ensure that everyone involved in football can go and enjoy the match in a friendly and safe environemnt. Comment on this article
