Owen picked for England??International Newcastle United by lordfreakin (U9894484) 05 October 2007 I'm getting really sick of Owen being rushed back into international duty days after recovering from another injury. Surely he should be rested for these internationals rather than risk another injury and him missing more Newcastle games? Does it not annoy anyone else that he seems to be fit for more England matches than Newcastle matches?? Latest 10 commentsRead members' comments or add your own

He should be given time to recover then maybe he can be back to his best by Euro 2008 kick-off.Teams like Estonia should provide an opportunity for the manager to try out other attacking options and partnerships so the national team isn't found wanting the next time there's an injury crisis.
