Actually Fahrbot I do have to pick you up on couple of points as you've said my comments are inaccurate.

Were my comments about the safety car driver not being English inaccurate?

Were my comments about Hamilton overtaking 20 cars in Turkey last year inaccurate?

Whether or not Hamilton was guilty of bad driving is something I don't care about. I'm just happy that the stupid penalty given to Vettel was rescinded.

Wo Farhbot! You are jumping to wild conclusions. I am English and have always supported English drivers. However I agree Hamilton is not the best driver (at the moment) however he has had the greatest 1st season impact on F1 ever! He has the ability to become a great however it wont be an easy path, but he already has abilities driving as well as psychological that other drivers either do not have or have taken years to gain.

How many other drivers have walked into F1 and have done this? None! Damon Hill in 93 was in a Williams a good 1-2 seconds quicker than any other car yet was not all that. Coulthard in 94 walked into a Willams which was not as superior yet didn't do all that. The only one driver I can think of that had a chance of winning in his 1st season was Villeneuve in 96 however it wasn't much of a chance.

Alonso is a very good driver but he is not the best in my eyes. He's maximised what he had at Renault and did exceptionally well. Actually I hope he stays at McLaren next year rather than running away to Renault or Ferrari.

I am a Hamilton fan and as such and by any meaningful definition I am not, nay, should not be objective. One may however ask that I be fair. Here then is an attempt. With roles reversed/altered say Alonso/ Raikkonen at lead , Lewis second and Vettel shunting him would I :
1)Be Angry...Yes
2)Blame the leader..No because he sets the pace its everyone else's business to keep up but not close enough that the leader's choices affect them.
3) Expect a review of the facts 4 - 5 days after the fact based on a YOUTUBE video?? NO!! What is this, amateur video referee week??!
4) Expect a Ferrari fan to tell me what to think of the entire situation. Yes (witness the break down of objectivity.. i tried)

The accident was Vettels for whatever reason. And that is the hub of the matter - every pun intended!

look at the SC car - do you see the rear light clusters on? He slowed down in the S curve and LH had to take evasive action. Blame the SC driver.

I had made an earlier comment deleted where I made a comment that despite the fear of an anti-Hamilton, anti-English agenda that there was nothing in the past to suggest that any such agenda existed. The authorities could have taken points from him during the spygate penalties or choose to not intervene when he and Alonso were involved in tit-for-tat incidents in qualifying (only Alonso was penalised). I'm not saying that he should have been penalised only that he could have and wasn't.

Fears of a conspiracy against him are pretty baseless.

"Lewis is no angel. His antics in Austrailia were questioned when he was trying to hold off Heidfeld."

Do keep it up, this dissing of Hamilton. As another article states, Hamilton was exonerated. Hope that spoils whatever you're drinking.

Of course FIA is desparate to stop a BRIT winning the title either the constructors or the drivers.
This is the British way.
Anyone but a Brit can win as McClaren doesn't winge like the Ferraris.
The whole situation was rigged by Ferrari to get McClaren and their drivers banned.
Typically British the Brits love crucifying each other. They Self Destruct.
Ferrari got McClaren points nullified when Ferrari gave the information away McClaren didn't steel it.
C'mon McClaren counter sue Ferrari don't sit back and accept the verdict which is typically British.
Do the Ferrari thing and contest every decision whether you think it is right or wrong makes no difference.(this is Ferrari way)
Argue to the last.
If you do you will get reinstated and win the constructors as well as the drivers.

Hamilton should not be punished. If there is any consistency in the process then Schumacher should have had points deducted for dangerous driving and shoving into Hill when he subsequently won one of his titles.
