First of all, what a result for us on Saturday! I must admit I had my doubts because of previous results between ourselves and West Ham and the tough trip to Upton Park but we pulled off a win and remain unbeaten this season and remain top of the league. We are four points infront of Liverpool...and wait for it...seven points infront of Chelsea with a game in hand at this early stage of the season!!

Quite a big difference!!

We are scoring so many goals from midfield now and Fabregas is world class and IMO can only get better. We are playing beautiful football, and going steady in the Champions League and Carling Cup at the moment. Good results over Sparta Prague to qualify for the Champions League and then an excellent 3-0 win over Sevilla. Our youngsters did really well over Newcastle mid-week by winning 2-0 and now we cruise through to the fourth round with a tough fixture at Bramall Lane against Sheffield United.

We play Steaua Bucharest in the Champions League tonigh in the second game of our group on Tuesday and then we are at home against Sunderland in the Premier League next Sunday before two weeks of internationals. Hopefully two more wins before a break!!

Pundits,the media and especially most of us fans didn't expect what we have witnessed so far this season and I for one was one of the fans that didn't expect this. I think we have proved most people wrong and people can't really say that we are not going to be in the title race this season. I think the biggest things we lacked last season was the consistency and our home form. We have won every game at home this season and the consistency is showing.

So..I just hope this continues, we are playing fantastic stuff at the moment and lets hope that recent injuries won't affect us. And before I go (before anyone says), I am not getting carried away, I am just admiring our start to the season and how well we are playing at the moment.
