Alonso best bet for Sunday?

Formula One

Although Lewis sneaked through to take pole, I think Alonso will be the stronger of the two on Sunday.

I´m not sure Hamilton has recovered his composure enough to translate his pole to a victory!

Since when do you 'sneak' pole? A few hundredths of a second perhaps, but not two tenths. If you drive the fastest over the whole lap, you take the pole and the plaudits. I'm sure that Kimi or Alonso would love to be on pole tomorrow. LH is the man to beat, no question.

Great that Hamilton has managed to come back and show once again that he has what it takes to be a F1 champion. He is used to winning, and he knows what it takes to win a championship. His record proves it.

How refreshing it is to have such excitement back in F1. It's going down to the wire, and I'm on the edge of my seat.

KingSennaForever thanks for that, sorry took a while reading the thread again, so Rosberg is probably not going to win and make me a bucket load, JB's in with a shout though I hope.

WheelNuts24, yes fuel may not matter. Congratulations 80 comments and still going, that's a damn good run just for that fact deserves a much higher rating.

The 13 1 votes seem really unfair, but if I put my sensible head on and not my betting one, I would expect FA to win too or possibly KR.

Raikkonen had gearbox problems and had to back off according to the BBC cover story and that they will apparently be "fixed" for tommorow!

My money is on this dark horse having a fantastic start tommorow!
