Ask Ollie a question

comment on the article

The Plymouth manager gives his inimitable views on football and life in general in his weekly column.

This week he gives his views on where it went wrong for England in Russia and the booing of Frank Lampard.

He also talks about bi-lingual managers, putting Bristol on the map and the craziest footballer he's ever played with.

But what would you like to ask him? Send in your questions and we will try to use them. Apologies if yours don't get used this time - but keep trying!

Ollie I've read your column many times and I've always found it entertaining. But there was one thing I always wanted to know. What is your favourite type of cake?

Ollie, here is an interesting article, seems to show that some newspapers seem to print a load of rubbish, here is what I read on Tuesdays gossip column..."Manchester United winger Lee Martin is wanted on loan by Plymouth manager Ian Holloway. (Daily Mirror)"

The silly buggers, you already have the kid on loan! You will be signing AC Milans Ronaldo on a 100,000 pasties a week deal next!

Morning Ollie ok

If you could buy one player that's ever played the game for your current side who would it be, and why?

Hey up Ollie.

I run an under 7's team and I love it, our goalkeeper is my brother and he is doing really well but I want him to do better. Without pushing him too hard do you have any advice how I can get my brother to be the next Craig Gordon?

Cheers mate! ok

Hey Ollie,

I met you at your book signing at a supermarket in Bristol tonight. I had to wait nearly 3 hours to meet you, but it was worth it.

Did you ever get away, or are you still sitting there now?

Thanks mate,
Sean
(the Leeds and Bath City fan)

Hi Ollie!

I am a season ticket holder at Argyle and have been for the past 7 seasons! You are the best manager I have seen in my short time of supporting the greens by the way!
I have a 5 a side team who play very close to Home Park and we are very poorly organised on the pitch as a team! I would appreciate i if you could give us some tips or perhaps you could put us through a coaching session! I have not met you but would love to meet you as your such a great bloke! Keep up the good work and thanks for making me proud to be green!
Keep it green OLLIE!

OLLIE OLLIE OLLIE OLLIE HOLLOWAY!!!!

Tedknott: I think you're over-reacting a bit. If a bloke drops his shorts during a game, you're entitled to think he's a little bit crazy! Ollie's certainly not biased about Man City - when Joey Barton did a similar thing last season, he introduced a pair of 'Joey Barton shorts' into training at Plymouth as a tribute!

ronaldoforthewin: Apologies if you don't like the column but if you look down at the posts on this board, you're definitely in the minority!

Hey Ollie,

We're part of a dying breed; people that speak with a proper accent of the south-west (You being from Bristol and myself being from glorious Cornwall) and are proud of it. What I want to know is: Do you often get stick from people for the way you talk like your players for example?

Thanks a lot and keep up the good work

Why the hell did you leave Plymouth Argyle and break 20000 fans hearts?
