Stargazer (U2150250) posted Sep 26, 2007 Caymanian: it's how they won the rugby in the Olympics. American Football was briefly banned after a series of serious accidents and some of the best American footballers swapped codes. You can find a photo of their 1920 team rather easily through Google.

Stargazer (U2150250) posted Sep 26, 2007 You've got to feel for the USA: two narrow defeats against much stronger opposition. They almost got the bonus point against England and have finally got a reward against Samoa.

Caymanianblue (U9678009) posted Sep 26, 2007 Brilliant, far more spirit from both teams than a lot of the top world teams. Isn't that what rugby is about?

I'm a Yank who's starting to be a rugby fan, and am pleasantly surprised that the US is very competitive against Samoa, and made England struggle a little. The team seems full of spirit and improving rapidly. Good job, even if they won't win a game.
