Mettomo signs onChampionship Southampton by SaintFed (U7559460) 26 September 2007  Lucien has signed after the speculation, George has admitted he's not fully fit, but they're going to work hard to get him some extra cover. Big, strong, dominating. Extra options, but not a right back so Wright will still play, but Burley seems to be trying to work through the speculation. I think as long as it's tight Burley'll stay, as long as we're scoring goals and not getting hammered, but if that starts happening then we'll see. Or if this continues for too long that'll be it. hjmunro (U9556780) posted Sep 26, 2007 I can't see what everyone's problem with Wright is. He misplaced about 2 passes against Barnsley and everyone started blaming him. He gives a solid performance every week, and i think he's a great utility player for the club, but should be on the bench. Mettomo will be quality!

SaintFed (U7559460) posted Sep 26, 2007 Everyone's problem with Wright is that he should be on the bench, but is not. And he is not a right back, Ostlund is. Ostlund runs with the ball, and tackles firmly. Can we at least see Ostlund for more than 10 - 15 minutes?

SaintBicks (U9460649) posted Sep 26, 2007 good signing its about time we sorted out our defence- 15 goals conceded in 7 league games....not good.also burley needs to find out who our 2 forwards are going to be because at the moment we seem to have different strikers playing every week.

He'll have your heart in your mouth when he dribbles it round three players in his own crowded penalty area before playing the ball but he never got caught out to my memory! Comment on this article |
