Way ahead on chances, Bolton's keeper man of the match, we needed a finisher, and where did Jol Select Defoe to play?

Well on recent results should we be happy we avoided defeat to the bottom team?

No! Not good enough. Who can defend Jol now?

THF..Jol will walk as he is a pigheaded individual who has tremendous pride in what he does but wont put up with all the back room goings on.The guy is too proud to be undermined by the gossip in the media and the BOard got caught trying to recruit a replacement. Behind Chelsea he has spent the most amount of money of any Premiership team and opur "arch rivals" Arsenal have built their squad on the money it would take to buy Two Darren Bents...Jol must go and now...he lost the plot, lost the dressing room but more importantly lost too many football matchs. The future is now , not in twomo=r three seasons time. Why Defoe isnt playing is beyond me, and alythough the guy may miss a few at least he is getting in positions to threaten the goal.

Berber to Man UTd in transfer window ofr £30 million...Suppose that wont happen, but Berber isnt playing well and neither is Kenae and Bent, well a banjo and an elephants backside comes to mind...

Spurs , they are just like Manchester United , waiting for building up a proper format of the squad then score goals to improve the confidence.
Trust me , mate.

I had to laugh when I read the post. Does the original poster realise where Spurs are in the table? He parps on like they're in the top 4. Deluded fool. You are above us by 1 little point.

Listen, Mourinho can't manage you lot for at least another season, something in his release clause or whatev. Personally, I bet he goes out of the country ... but yeah, I agree, you're playing better than where you are against the table. And don't slate off a draw with Bolton, Arsenal lost to half the small teams last year but SMASHED the big four [Man U, I'm pointing at you especially]. You should be measuring your wins/losses against top/mid table teams ... oh, whoops. *prods Arsenal and Everton and Man U results*

Bent was a bloody mistake. Now, I'm not going to pretend to know anything about Spurs, but 16.5 million for a teenager from ... where was it, Southampton? We got that much for Henry! Big waste of money, Jol ... thoughts?

"Well on recent results should we be happy we avoided defeat to the bottom team?

"No! Not good enough."

Should Bolton be happy to have only come away with a point at home against a team in the relegation zone?

No. Not good enough.

steam Spurs fans get a grip and stop thinking you're better than you are! Spending millions doesn't automatically give you a top 6 place, and Bolton have proven that for the last 3 seasons.

Take a look at your north London friends and you will see that they are streets ahead. And will be for a long, long time.

Indeed :P Buh I think that even if you do get relegated, it'll be like a wake-up call of sorts ... Chelsea fans said the same thing about losing to Man U. Then you'd finally get a competent manager who won't need to spend that much money and who can actually make profits [Wenger] and who cain gain international recognition and acclaim [Fergie] and, sadly, be able to win the hearts and minds of the players and direct their moves accordingly [Mourinho]. I never realy liked Jol ... ever sinc he came around, you haven't beaten us in what, 11 years? Not complaining or nuffink, just saying ...

Although I'm not a Spurs fan, I can't help but feel angry about the way Jol continues to treat Defoe, and the lame reasons he uses to justify his decisions. However, hearing Defoe say last week that he was sticking it out left me gobsmacked. If he has any self-respect left then he should get his agent to find him another club. Meanwhile Jol is on a delusion ride when he says Daniel Levy "is always good to me, always backing me." Yes, by sounding out Jose and Sven. Dream on, dreamer (apologies to the Brand New Heavies).

Crisis or not. i feel some sympathy with Jol on the way he has been treated and is surely under great pressure at the moment but his decision to leave Defoe out of the squad is beyond me. My bet is he is already lining up a new club has he must feel his tenure at Spurs is drawing to a close. He is a proud man and will walk before he is pushed. I hope I am wrong and still feel a good run of results could save him cool

Dream on - streets ahead smiley Look at the last two seasons. Admit it yourself you are as surprised as anyone else at where you currently lie in the premiership. Enjoy it while it lasts because it won'y cool
