Manchester United

Well Mourinho has said that he wants to come back to haunt chelsea one day so i rekon (although i realise its very unlikely) that he should be fergie's successor when the legend himself decides to retire.

the look on chelsea fans faces along with that traitor Peter Kenyon would be great.

However i do realise its more than likely Carlos Queirez will get the job which considering that he totally flopped in the madrid job i dont know will be the right decision..

Thoughts?

For united's next manager they should get someone who's United through and through.

I'm not a United fan but I do love what Manchester United stands for - its a club with pride and integrity, an institution, and not a club to go the way of Madrid and now Chelsea where managers come and go at the drop of a hat.

The next manager has to be one who's there for the long haul and loves the club. For me it has to be Roy Keane, there's no-one else fit to step into Fergies shoes.

I'm not disputing the ability of people like Capello, Mourinho et al who have been linked with the job but their CVs don't suggest that they'll be the type of manager who will stick with the club for any serious length of time.

I'm also not suggesting that should Roy Keane get the job he should be stuck with even if he's rubbish. I just think that any future manager of United should not be one who could be tempted by lures from abroad as people like Capello and Mourinho surely would be.

Also, whoever mentioned Allardyce - are you having a laugh?!

I cant see any one managing MU after Sir. Alex, however we all know the day will come, so then our thoughts might change, and may be the chousen one will be mourin. But MU blood manager i believe should be Roy Keen.

United is as its name states .
people like Mourinho fell out of favor with Chelsea because of arrogance and Fergie has respect for his colleagues which has built his repetition and won him respect from the funs and other clubs.
So its SIR ALEX FERGUSON him self to choose his successor whom am sure has and will ever dance to the tunes of the theater of dreams(OLD TRAFFORD).Of course a Red devil for life though.

When SAF goes it will be the end of an era in management (bit like Cloughie at Forest). Fergusson is 'old style' who commands and get's respect from his 'stars'. He has never been afraid to stand up to any players reputation and those who got too big for their boots got either them thrown at them or got themselves shipped out. I'm not a fan of SAF. Not even an admirer as I believe he has too many bad points to outweigh the good (personal opinion). However, you can't deny the mans trophy cabinet and stats over the years and that has to gain respect whether I like it or not. Jose Maurinhio would never fit in at OT. I don't know who will to be honest after SAF.

Typical United fans. When Mourinho was Manager at Chelsea you and over fans insulted Mourinho by saying he is arragent, cocky, he plays boring football, and that you dislike him, etc. But now their has been romours that Jose could well be the next successor for Sir Alex Ferguson as to now your all licking his a*se like i.e He has an excellent record, will be an idol at United, he can play decent football.

Just to make it clear Mourinho was in west london in a gathering of media, press and he said that he never wants to compette against chelsea or manage an english club which might confuse or upset the chelsea fans i.e. Man United. But he wants to manage an English in the future as he loves English Football.

Jose has also indicated that he wants to learn another language which has to be either German or Italian so i'm guesing he wants to manage another culb in one of tose countries. Jose has also said that he dosen't want to take the Portugal job.

- You sound frustrated... I haven't spoken to one Manchester United fan who wants Mourinho to be manager and so what if a couple do. That does represent the typical manchester united fan at all. Mourinho lacks the style of management required to play the type of football Manchester United will demand. Long ball and aggression, the wimbledon way, wont cut it at a top club.

I think carlos would mess united up cos of his formation of 451.

I think the perfect successor to united is either sparky (mark hughes), Solskjaer (when he gets his badges),Keano, and even Martin O' Neil. I like his style of management and i believe he will be an excellent candidate for the hotseat!
