Ridsdale threatens to leave Cardiff City

Cardiff City

comment on the article

Peter Ridsdale has threatened to leave the Bluebirds because he believes there is overwhelming support for Sam Hammam.

I would say to you Peter, that you have got the faith and support of the fans of Cardiff City.

A tiny minority of so called fans are yet again trying to wreck the steady work that has been done.

You say you are in it for the long haul, then PROVE IT.

Peter Ridsdale used to serve my grandmother, Tongue, Haslet and some cheddar! He worked for his dad in Ridsdale's Grocers in Batley. He should have stayed there. Of course Leeds fans are bitter and although it is probably true that there is little love lost between our two clubs.. no football club with a loyal local fans and a history deserve this person. HE IS NOT FIT TO RUN A BUSINESS.. Has anyone in Cardiff read about his signing of Seth Johnson? his agent wanted to hold out for £13,000 a week. Peter Ridsdale entered the room and said "Right, I'm sorry but I can only offer you thirty thousand a week". Johnson's agent uttered some exclamation of disbelief and so Ridsdale said "Alright, thirty-eight thousand then".

The point is that you found it all so funny when we went down the pan. In fact you claimed you were responsible for the demise of Leeds. Now Leeds fans can claim they were responsible for the demise of Cardiff as you have our criminally negligent ex-chairman. We're going back to the top, you lot are going to crash and burn. We'll wave to you next year as we go past.

Oh and another point - you're a small club. Far to small to survive Ridsdale's financial dealings. If you genuinely don't beleive Ridsdale isn't trying to jump ship before this 30 million catches up with your club, then you're very misguided.

superleeds90...You are at the bottom of the 1st
it doesn't matter if you had won 20 in a row thats where you are, at the bottom, come back when you've done the job and then start preaching, because i'm not interested in listening to someone who is at the bottom of the 1st and for all the hype you might still be in the 1st next year.
Learn to live in the real world, because however you try to sugarcoat it, your at the bottom of the 1st.
By the way you weren't cutting in the championship last year, so all this talk of being back in the premiership, all dreams.

Oh how sweet is this going to be, Mr Ridsdale trying to claim he is being forced out so its the easy way. I give you till August 2008 before you have the Inland Revenue and the administrators in. And as my good Leeds friends above say, can a small club with a small fan base survive. Leeds were lucky in the end, will be interesting to see if Cardiff have the same luck.

Yes I know most people are going to say, oh its leeds fans just trying to wind us up but deep down there is not one cardiff fan who is not concerned by

1. Your Debt
2. PR attempts to get out
3. The striking similarities from what happened at Leeds ie Hasselbaink, Fowler and wages out of your wage structure

Never mind though lads, you always have one of the other teams to follow like Swansea of wrexham

exactly jolly lad. everyone can see it but they dont want to believe it doh they will believe it when as you mentioned above they end up without a club. and it will happen you can bet on it. its getting closer everyday but they are so naive they probably still wont believe that Cardiff are in big big trouble, so at the end of the day who cares. at least there is one club down the road that is well run with loads of money. who you ask?...the mighty swans thats who. ale

Oh yes how mighty indeed, they strike fear into every side they play, with a fan base of about 4 people.

Yeovil are pretty mighty don't you think? looks like you got competition there.

All I will say is that beware of the Men with the Money, I am a Wrexham Fan and look at the state of our club, we went through the pits thanks to a no hoping, non football supporting idiot with wads of cash, Ok so we have managed to salvage the club so far but we lie bottom of 2nd Div now and are finding it hard to recover. Football teams should be run by the fans, but sadly money rules!!!

sweetbluefoorballfan;

Even at the time you were writing your little tirade, we weren't bottom and we certainly aren't bottom now.

Swansea fans were excellent today, which is more than I can say about your lot last year. But then again, Swansea are the only real team in Wales.

Still saying Thank You now?

Those bitter Leeds fans warned you. It's not that we want revenge on him - it's just that he's crap with finance AND over ambitious.

(Oh and he'll never admit when he's wrong)
