This isn't a wind up, it's a serious question, i'd like to know how Chelsea fans honestly see this season going for them now, like where do you think you'll finish?

"am i the only one who thinks 'what the **** is wrong with benitez?' i mean, since mourinho came to chelsea, ive h8ed them as much as the livers and the gunners but even i have respect for him. Even fergi and wenger paid tribute to the manager and then you have benitez - just like his fans eh?

i mean everyone can see the board didnt help mourinho at all and there you have benitez acting like a right idiot is he a litle child?"

-------------------------

Methinks it's you that's a 'little child' if your comments are anything to go by.

Given the animosity between the two managers and the numerous derogatory comments from Moaninho, why on Earth should Benitez come out now, in the midst of a media driven frenzy, and pretend to have 'respect' for someone who clearly had little respect for him before? Does geting the sack somehow entitle you to tea and sympathy? In that case, perhaps you could point me to Moaninho's respectful comments to every manager in the game that's ever ben sacked since he came to England. Or perhaps his apology for forcing a referee into retirement.

Surely it would be hypocritical for Benitez to spout a load of drivel that runs contrary to everything he's said about him before...and with good reason given Moaninho's disgraceful comments about both Benitez and the club he proudly manages. Also, if you read todays papers, I'm sure you'll discover that, in contrast to your belief, Wenger was hardly complinentary about Moaninho...and rightly so. And to suggest that Liverpool fans on this forum are 'childish - just like Benitez' because you think they are eager to stick the boot in - well try reading the forum and you'll find that Liverpool fans opinions vary widely on Moaninho...indeed we show more in the way of independent thinking that most of the mawkish and fickle fly by night Chelsea 'supporters' here.

As to the other 'nutter' that suggested that Liverpool would love to have Moaninho - turn it in son...we have a strong tradition of INTERGRITY (look up the word) which means we would never allow a blatant cheat and charlatan like him to ever manage our club, even if we didn't already have a dignified boss who knows how to win things without recourse to 'dark arts' and intimidation...and a cheque for 500 million pounds.

Jose was a great couch/manager SO.!! Roman decide what you want to be owner? or Manager?, since you can only be owner, with the poor Russian's money, let your manager do the job, well you lost me as Fan

Only a few days ago Peter Kenyon was saying that Jose Mourinho was the future of Chelsea football club, so where does that leave us now eh! Well done Kenyon, we all know you can't be trusted - look how Ranieri was treated.

These were quotes he made in May and taken from the film that was premeired this week.

Things change, I'll miss Jose as I missed Claudio, Vialli etc, but he's gone now, move on.

Just where do these so called Directors like Buck and Kenyon come from, and just how are they in a position to judge someone as gifted as Jose in the first place........I'm staggered that these people could make (under the direction of dopey Abramovich) such an obviously catastrophic decision. Goodbye Chelsea, nice knowing you steam

firstly it was very sporting of mr Ferguson to compliment mourinho, and i totally agree the premiership will be vacant without him..i feel the chelsea board have made a drastic and too premature decision...i feel mr grant looks already out of depth and it shows in press today,he lacks motivation...

Kenyon came from Man U. Buck was a chelsea season ticket holder of 13 years when Roman took over, he knew roman from his dealings with him as a corporate lawyer. Roman owns the club, like Bates before him he will build the club as he wants to as Bates did before him. People will moan about it as they did when Bates was in charge but look what Bates did for us in 20 years. Roman pays Roman decides.

The last time I protested against a chairman/owner was Mears, and that was because he had sold us down the river to property investors, they were proper protests and much needed including pitch invasions.

The club is who I support, not any indivdual.

"Roman Abramovich doesn't make important appointments on a whim or because someone is a friend," said Buck.

It's not because he's a friend. It's because, like Pinochio,he's a puppet. His nose grows by the second!

Let's see how a team of "actors" for Abramovich will of "beautiful football" does against serious teams who wants to win. Real Madrid tried it and see where it took them...
