Super Eights draws to a close

Twenty20
comment on the article
Th ICC Twenty20

We've got two games of the Super Eights to go - Pakistan v Bangladesh at 1300 BST, and then South Africa v India at 1700 BST.

I'm in the chair to bring you the live text for both games, elsewhere on the BBC Sport website - but how do you think the teams will get on, and what match-ups would you like to see in the semi-finals?

I just found a post 3 hours old I made in a discussion here -

No two t20 games are alike...The very same India defended 141.

Just hoping the SA venom/aggression in this match is being drawn out before they get to bat. India is snake-charmer territory after all!

----

I wonder why the snake analogies came into my posts today. Some kind of premonition I suppose.winkeye

India really did draw out SA's fangs batting first and left them spent and short of adrenaline.

Ranjit Fernando (bless him, I rarely quote him) and Rameez did feel India was spacing it out well and building up a momentum gradually unlike SL and Pakistan...they showed it again in this match....the importance to conserve your adrenaline for the right moments...let's see in future.

I don't care if the Aussies beat us, I am sure they boys will give a fight, proud of them win or lose"

I like this attitude!! If INDIA also have this mentality, I won't be surprised if they beat the Aussies!!!

They look happy and confident. Quietly confident as well.

Is there enough case to re-test Yuvraj in test matches? I think he's developing a new frame of mind here...a useful one. Talks much sense too these days.

England are you watching?
You invented the game.
the only good thing you are good at is sledging.
Even Australia would beat you at that
Face it, guys you are useless.

In my opinion,

they just NOT need to go by the reputation of the aussies, and just do the basics well (like today apart from the extras)..and be care free...

Extras MUST STOP!

having said (and read all of )that, I hope the next few contests would be nicely fought rather than one-sided ventures. bless!

Soulberry, I didn't say the Kiwi's prefer the Pakistanies..but we do have a chance here, depends which Pak.team turns up. they have already dropped the intensity against the Dashies and thats, hart to get it all back on track..see how they do. the Indiens fought like lions, not to meet the Pak in the semies. SA underestimated that strong motivation. they should have gone for the outright win..they had the playes, the skill but are very weak in doing their maths..Durban is a very poor huntingground for them. so then, Ind vs Aus..and the final is wide open for all teams now.
could be:
Pak/Ind
NZ/Ind
Aus/NZ
Pak/Aus
whats your prediction..I can't decide!!
