It has been another good week for Micah Richards - captaining Manchester City in a competitive match for the first time and being named Player of the Month for August. Not bad really!

I caught up with Micah for his latest column where he answers some of your previous questions, including the toughest opponent he has come up against.

He also talks about returning to action for City after international duty, catching up with some old mates from his academy days and also what he thinks about the Carling Cup.

Keep the questions coming in and let me know if there are any topics you want Micah to look at in depth. He has covered quite a lot of the subjects you have mentioned so far but will be going into greater detail about some of them in the future too.

PS (I will keep including this for the time being!) For those of you who are still wondering - Micah pronounces his name Micah as in 'striker', not Micah as in 'sneaker'.

I'm a City fan - of course I've got a sense of humour!

That's why I replied to that post 'from' Micah in the way I did...

So, in answer to your questions...

1) Why would Micah join a team lower in the table, even if he did want to leave City (which he doesn't!)

Nope, I'm not Sven - but I asked Micah this a couple of weeks ago, and this was his reply:

Manchester City's England defender Micah Richards says he is close to signing an extended deal at Eastlands.

Richards, 19, who already has a contract that lasts until 2010, hopes to agree new and improved terms.

"I am very happy at City," Richards told BBC Sport. "Hopefully we will have something signed very soon.

"I am just waiting for my dad who is in Africa setting up a soccer school. We have got talks with City as soon as he gets back in the next two weeks."

2) And have you checked the league table recently?
"Nothing is ever won in September"
"I mean are you stll likely to FINISH the season above us?"

Just a bit of banter there...sorry if you took it the wrong way doh...Maybe City won't finish above United in the table but you have to admit that this is the first season in years that it's even a possibility. biggrin

Congratulations on a fantastic start to the season with both club and country Micah!
I'd like to know if you've ever spoken to Shaun Wright Phillips about coming back home to the COMS and what he thinks about it. I'd love to see another academy lad back at City - where he belongs. Are you gutted he left?
Also who's quicker - you or nedum?!

Micah, what exactly was said between you & Clint Dempsey today? Also, do you think you will be able to handle all the chancers who will try to wind you up because they now think you have a short fuse? Cheers blue.

Can you ask Micah how he would feel about playing for Arsenal? I know he wants to concentrate for City at the moment but Wenger may look into bring him to London as Arsenal defence looks a little vulnerable in the air.
