Can Don still reach the Olympics?

Triathlete Tim Don's hopes of qualifying for the Beijing Olympics have been hit by a broken elbow.

The 2006 world champion crashed and turned over his handlebars at a qualifying event in Beijing at the weekend.

Now, Don has one last chance to get the standard at the World Cup in Madrid next May.

There are three Olympic places up for grabs for the men and the standard, by the way, is finishing in the top eight in Spain and within 1% of the winner's time

But selectors can also choose an athlete at their discretion.

So, does Don still have a decent chance of making the Olympics?

After his Olympic ban for missing three drugs tests was overturned in May, he will certainly be desperate to take part.

Obviously really a really good lad....Kop_this you have no idea pal...triathlon is actually one of the more social sports with clubs, forums and race events i have met more through triahtlon than playing cricket where i seem, these days, to come against disgusting units like you, who have nothing better to say....

I would back myself to say my social life is far more entriguign and eventful than yours...
