I dont see the place for Giggs or Nani here, and yet two of ManU's last three goals have come from Nani crosses and quite a few more could have materialised from the genius of Giggs on the wings! Great permutations though; just shows we have depth.

We do have depth your right but it's about finding the right tactics for the right combination of players. Personally I would have 4-4-2 every time with Saha and Rooney up front with a midfield consisting of Ronaldo, Hargreaves, Scholes/Carrick, Nani/Giggs and the defence/goalkeeper is a pretty obvious choice.

Players are going to have to fight for their place and as long as they have the right attitude (Unlike a certain Heinze) it can only be good for the club.

I've always said that we are going to have a slow start to the season due to the new players joining and so finding a formula that works. But I believe once Christmas passes you will see a great United playing beautiful football. And because of this I rate our chances of winning the Champions League as long as we battle through the group stage successfully.

As for the PL, I think it will be tough to retain the Crown as I believe come Christmas time we will be several points behind the leaders and will leave ourselves with to much to do. Hence we concentrate on the CL.

we have been playing 442 you idiots we are not playing has a team when going forward.

know one has brought this up but I think last season is playing some part in our current form poor pre season matches
and bedding in new players and a direct conciquences this is why we are not playing well.

dont play 433, especially if you arent going to put giggs or nani in on the left.

442 is the best option in my mind. in 433, rooney and tevez will be providing the crosses in, after all there isnt a wide man in midfield apart from ronaldo, who can't be supplying crosses from right and left can he?

there is nani but needs to settle and still done well.
fatman_82 you clearly dont watch united because nani has supplyed all the goals and has scored a goal who is a winger. so stop thinking this that about how great ronaldo is even I think he is a cracking player. nani can cross and take corners and a patnership from set pieces between vidic and nani is very tasty to me.

lets not 4get who united are, our style is to attack with pace from each wing and to literally bombard de oppositions defence, i just cant see a 4-3-3 workin for us, especially trying to defend
