TimmytheTroll - You are still wrong. Scotland are at this moement AHEAD of France because they have the same points but Scotland's 'head to head' record against rance is superior. They are not level,as you stated originally.
Yeah, they may well not make to Austria/Switz. because I believe that the defence cannot hold on for another 90 torris minutes without conceding a goal, but nevertheless they have beaten France twice in competitive games, not friendlies, and that is some achievement.

Lets try and put an end to all the mindless bickering with some decent old fashioned facts:

Regarding the Old Firm - have a look at Deloitte's guide to the top 20 clubs in the world. There's only two teams on there outside the big 5 leagues, guess who they are?

But hey, what do they know about big football clubs?

Henrik Larsson is one of the finest strikers that Europe has produced in the last 20 years. He's scored goals in Eredivisie, SPL, EPL, La Liga, Champions League, UEFA Cup (including the final), European Championship Finals and World Cup Finals.

After the 2006 Champions League Final, Thierry Henry said:

"People always talk about Ronaldinho, Eto'o, Giuly and everything, but I didn't see them today—I saw Henrik Larsson. Two times he came on—he changed the game, that is what killed the game. England have a better side than Scotland, England have a better qualification record than Scotland. It really doesn't matter, we're a nation who have risen from 88th to 18th in the world. A few years ago we were the laughing stock of British football, getting horsed by Wales!

Whilst it's true that England have a better Qualification record(in recent years) for the Finals, the main reason for this is due to the wholly unfair & pointless seedings format that have now been adopted by FIFA & EUFA in respect of all cup comps.

Don't you think it's odd that us (so called)Minnows seemed to do much better when there were no Seedings ???

Mind you,how do the seedings actually work & do they work??? How do you get the two World Cup finalists in the same group ?? unless of course, that same group contains Scotland ????
