Put that in your pipe and smoke it to all who called us lame in the last post.
Yes, we arn't going to qualify, and our squad is one of the youngest in europe if not THE youngest, yet we can go away and score 5.

Another year or two and we will be much stronger and pulling out amazing results.

I always view Wales' performances just like Welsh weather;
Generally Overcast, some Sunny spells during the summer but always expecting rain.

I'm a Palace and Wales fan and I can't believe that Carl Robinson keeps getting selected ahead of Carl Fletcher. Week-in week-out for Palace he puts in 8/9 star performances, if he has a bad game it's a 7 star performance. The vast majority of Palace fans believe he's the best defensive midfielder in the Championship and he provides so much more than Robinson who just sits in his own half all match. He possesses a fearsome shot and can pop up with the odd goal.

Can't remember when any international result last gave me as much pleasure as 2-5.
I'm not Welsh: I just despise Savage with every fibre of my being. He's not even a hard man: I've never seen him make a tackle. All he does is run around & shoot his mouth off, on & off the pitch. He can't pass, tackle, shoot or cross. How he ever played for his country Hughes only knows. He is a pathetic human being and full marks to Toshack for blanking him.

I seriously think you should take the quality of opposition into question first....Germany are 34 places above Slovakia in the rankings....a good performance nevertheless.

Savage hasnt been proven wrong because of this loss just as he wasnt proven right when we lost to germany. I think at this stage the jury is still out on toshack and we will be in a better place to judge after the world cup qualifiers. I personally am worried bcause i dont think we necesarily deserved to win against bulgaria and slovakia, not that i am complaining. My main worry is how we will cope in games when bellamy is injured as we looked a complete one man team yesterday,

Hey svenforprimeminister, germany are 30odd places above slovakia, but we're 35 places below them!

Savage was spot on. Wales are going nowhere. So you beat Slovakia? Big deal.

Toshack is an utter tool. Hughes is god.

Wales may not be going anywhere (I remain optimistic with some of the youngsters) but I'd rather we stand still without Savage than go into reverse with him.

I agree with an earlier posting that he's all mouth and jock strap.

Unfortunately , the pricing for the ROI match will already have been announced- the pricing scheme for the qualifiers will have been fixed a long time ago. How about this : £1 for every adult, £5 for the under 10's , £15 for the under 6's . We've shown that we're the best in Europe for filling our stadium with bored children. What about attracting adults ?

It seems to me that Wales have a good crop of youngsters, combined with some decent senior players. They rely on Bellamy rather too much, as do West Ham. If he turns up with the right frame of mind, he can be incredible. If his head is not right, he is horrible. As long as Savage is not playing, things will be fine.
