Your chance to quiz Micah Richards

Euro 2008 England
comment on the article

Saturday was quite a day for BBC Sport columnist Micah Richards, who scored his first goal for England in their 3-0 win over Israel.

I caught up with Micah this week for his latest column in which he answers some of your questions about life in the England camp, partnering his old Manchester City mate Shaun Wright-Phillips and his hopes of keeping Gary Neville out of the team.

He also explains his goal celebration and looks ahead to Wednesday's crucial game with Russia.

A lot of you asked about how he got his impressive physique and wanted to know if he had any brothers that might follow him into football. Micah tells all!

Keep the questions coming in and let me know if there are any topics you want Micah to look at in depth. He has covered quite a lot of the subjects you have mentioned so far but will be going into greater detail about some of them in the future too.

PS For those of you who are still wondering - Micah pronounces his name Micah as in 'striker', not Micah as in 'sneaker'.

do you think it is fair that a handful of good performances, albeit very good ones, should be enough for you to take over the mantle of a player (Gary Neville) who has served wonderfully at right back for more than ten years?

Micah if you leave City you should join FCB. Truly the biggest club in the world.

You should definitly keep neville out of the team, he gets a nose bleed when he goes past half way, your more skillfull, stronger, quicker and I think you have already scored more goals for england than him.

Oh yes, I agree with that other guy about Ferdinand, dont become a wana be gangster like him, he looks like a reject from the so solid crew and I get the immpression he is a bit of a nob really (although I'm sure he does loads for charity). Plus your better than him already, one of the most overated players in the premier league and you could be centre back for England if you wanted.
& please dont become a money obsessed mercenarry like all the other England players.

hi micah

I'm only 12 and can i just say what a great role model you are for me and all my mates. still young but now an England regular. i think that me and my mates could all learn a lot from you.

I'm really pleased that you're now a first-team player for Manchester City and, despite being a West Ham fan myself, how great your work rate is. I don't think anyone on that England team on Saturday put in half as much an effort as you did ( Except perhaps Emile Heskey, who was great too).

Congratulations on your goal and I hope they're are going to be loads more to come!

Thanks

Micah, i was wondering, have you ever seen much people that look like you or resemble you in anyway. I asked this because most of my friends and some random people, tell me that we look alike or call me your your twin.I would love for you to respond to this question, Thank you

Micah

How does it feel to have such unbelievable amount of money? I mean, to pick up 10,000pounds cash and still have another 60,000 cash on the bed? Is it scary? do you ever thnk: "this is too much money!!" or do you think, "I will buy a new house every two weeks till i own all the houses in Manchester!!"

HEHE...welldone mate, your performance have been good. Be careful though cos i noticed you started getting lazy toward the end of the match against russia!! English fans don't forgive, they are actually saying rooney should not play again!! imagine! so watch your back and put in a graet performance EVERY TIME. okay?
you the MAN! (in the making...)
