The right is sorted so is the left (finally) but now we have a problem somwhere else. I will leave you all to guess where.

Neville obviously has more experience which is vital in tournaments but he's never been top quality, when faced with pacey wingers he's often left stranded or resorted to hacking. Richards is faster and better going forward, he can be another Ashley Cole which will give us the potential ofan attacking edge on both flanks. he'll take Neville's palce sooner or later, I'd rather we stuck with him to give him experience before next summer (if we qualify).

It's not about kicking the ball the furthest or out of play, but about engineering attacking moves.

typical manc cannot see past their own players - Richards looks better than neville on everything, defending and attacking - Is it me or did most man u fans watch a different game?!
Riverstand are you really SGE?! just picking players on name and not on form!!
Neville - get on that scrapheap.

lets see how richards performs against russia - if he turns in another all star performance then by rights he should keep his place, and neville should accept that he has a role in the squad, but not guaranteed to start. after all we have to look forward.

Lets hope not, Cashley can't cross the ball for toffee. It doesn't even seem like he has worked on it.

Lets hope that Richards can be another Neville, remain professional and work on his weaknesses like Neville has over the years and he can be even better than he is now.

Richards will just have to keep playing last night. Maybe once Gary is fit play him, and have Richards on the Bench, but after last nights match, think McLaren will find it difficult to change the starting XI for Estonia in October.

Richards should remain in the team unless Neville is playing really well for Manchester United. Pick the player on form rather than potential or reputation.

gary neville should start for england when beckham plays. england need gary's experience and micah will be 100+ caps so no need 2 rush him. after euro 2008 gary should retire from england.

i am a man utd supporter, but i think after his displays in both the PL and the recent internationals, micah richards must be allowed to continue. for mclaren to drop richards for neville would send out a strong message to other new england players that they will always be second-choice, no matter how well they play.
