Are you having a laugh Pooliepaddy? Maybe you should look at Mr. Taylor's history in management and then you will notice that he enjoyed his most successful time as a domestic manager with Gillingham!!!!!
That might be why he holds a special affection for the club and why he might be attracted to the Gills, especially as he is under the cosh at Palace!!

'Gills going up' just because he enjoyed a good short spell with the club, why would he drop a division, a huge decrease in wages just because he had a nice time a while back?!

I'm not saying he is going to drop a division. I dont think its unrealistic at all. However I dont think he will be our next manager.
I would like to see Mickey Adams, Martin Allen or Kenney Jackett... I believe they are all realistic!!!

Why is nobody mentioning Paul Jewell? He's managed at the level before, and is probably looking for a way back into football now. He has a proven track record at this level and in the champioship with Wigan and Bradford.

Didn't Ray Lewington turn down Gillingham because of lack of funds before Ronnie Jepson or was it after Hess.
Anyway whose going to take job on with no funds.An experience manager maybe can't see Gary Megson coming though.Another name for Scally Neil Mcdonald at Carlisle.
