He's got IRELAND in his blood - no such thing as NI blood.
Kane playing for NI means he wants to play international football without having to break into a team that can field 11 premiership players. 'Rebel'....

I think its a country. the UN thinks its a country, and more importantly, for the benefit of football fans, FIFA and UEFA think its a country. It appears you have a problem. is it something in the blood?

No problem at all. Calm down - your insecurities are startin' to show.

I was only pointin' out how some here in NI
forget that they partitioned a country not it's people - so Irishmen North or South should ALWAYS be free to play for Ireland.

The lunatics have taken over the asylum! Why is it that everytime certain NI & ROI 'so called' supporters get on here we end up with this crap? Both Irish teams had rubbish results on Sat. Both sets of players will be sat on their a***s watching it on TV like the rest of us or more likely in their case, lying on a beach somewhere and it won't be in Austria/Switzerland! The common denominator here is that neither side are good enough! Even if there was a united team I doubt that would make much difference either. England will scrape through as usual and we'll all be subjected to the usual media hype and gingoistic nonsense that comes with it, they will then underachieve as usual and get a new manager afterwards. The Scots have probably the best chance of qualifying along with England but you just know they will be edged out at the last minute. Italy like England always manage to scrape in somehow. Wales? God only knows! Celtic Cup? It's probably the only tournament any of the Celtic 'nations' will be playing in anytime soon.

Given, Kelly, Dunne, McShane, O'Shea, Carr, Reid, Duff, Gibson, Keane, Doyle, Long, Keogh,
O'Brien, Ireland, Henderson etc, all born on Island of Ireland.

Maik Taylor - German born. You can't talk. At least we know we will play in tournaments. NI will never qualify for anything again.

Dyedgreen your idiocy astounds me. Do I really need to remind you about your team of "plastic paddys" in the 94 world cup? Quite ironic that you used an England B team while hating all things British. lol. Even Cascarino later admitted he has no ties to Ireland whatsoever.

Nigel harps on about his team not working hard enough and the performance was under average, why did he not bring in his most creative player Dean Shiels for this game? we quite simply do not have his type one who can create and score, who is going to create for King David? His goals for N.I have all been from percentage play or corners and free kicks, long punt from keeper v Spain a Steve Davis pass against England is the only one i can think of?
