Isn't it a shame that France got the bonus point!

Ireland will win both matches. France were a shambles, saying they couldn't deal with the pressure. Well the pressure will be much worse come the Irish game.

And Ireland would have beaten that Argie team last night. France didn't spread the ball wide at all, if they had tried to, maybe they would have outclassed them. When you play a forward game against the Argentinians, there's only gonna be one winner 9 times out of 10. Ireland won't be that stupid.

And the result wasn't "Argentina 32 - France 26"

It will be a profound joy to watch England fall flat on their face - by far the most overrated rugby nation in the Northern Hemisphere. One lucky kick to win the RWC in 2003 and they think they are world beaters. Look at the track record of the top nations.

France were awful and Argentina were inspired and played out of their skins.
Will the French rugby team emulate the football team in the WC a few years ago and fail to progress from the group stages?

"Cracking and totally unexpected result for Argentina "

well,they had beaten the french in 4 of their last 5 encounters against them....so that was not that unexpected.
France were overrated after their warm up games against ,it must be said,pretty poor teams(cf England today!!!)

'And the result wasn't "Argentina 32 - France 26"'

Yes, well noticed paulo6891, my predicted scoreline was double the truth. At least I stuck my neck out before the game and got the winners right. As Northern rugby says, it surprising how many experts there suddenly are on here. Where was your prediction?

Also I notice on a previous post you reckon England's backline is the best in the world! laugh

"Ireland will win both matches."
=====
Nothing could be less certain at this stage.

The French will be raging against us, and the Argies obviously have a very intelligent approach to undoing the opposition.

Argie is well positioned to qualify. But this is one group where bonus points could be decisive.

Ireland should've let Namibia back into it (I thought they were trying to at one stage..) - losing by less than 7 pts & with 4 tries, they'd have been 3rd on 2 pts with France in 4th! smiley
