The best thing since sliced bread villa beating chelsea.. Its going to be the best season ever.. I dont however like the look of derby being the whipping boys I hope they improve..

those who say chelsea need or play better with Lampard did not watch the game.

first time Chelsea where playing good football you where playing a very decent villa side away.

not struggling with lower ranked teams and managing to scuff out some points, for ONCE you where entertaining and threatening especially in the 1st half.

i only watched the first half yesterday and chelsea played really well, with alex and belletti impressing. we did miss lampard's well-timed runs into the box and his finishing, but i don't think we're dependent as such especially if we were up against a team with a 'lesser' defence than villa.

then as you know, it went pear shaped and i read today that belletti and alex had shockers. is this true?

also albic1 evidentely has no knowledge of football if he doesn't rate didier drogba and is basing his view 2 performances. the strength of the man and the way he fits perfectly into chelsea's way of playing (even when he wasn't rated as highly a couple of years ago) is proof enough he deserves everything that he's got

Season ticket holder in the Holte End. Without boasting - I have NEVER been so proud of the team. They fought like lions and I was heading every ball with them, going in for every tackle and of course celebrating every goal. Chelsea are class, we know that but let's enjoy our day. Let it rain claret and blue. Well done lads - you rocked. It goes to show that (as in life) sheer commitment and will to achieve can overcome the odds. Villa 'till I die...

they played well and erned the win i am a chelsea fan but willing to admitt it i dont understand the way people expect certain teams to win every match no club is that good football is a funny old game and the people who expect there team to win every game are being very disrespectfull of other teams as they are saying there not good enough to win there are some very good games this year to come i am proud of the fact chelsea have shaken uo the prem over the past few years its no longer manu and arsenal every year now other teams have seen how chelsea came along and took them on they have now improved there teams couching ect i would love to see 4 or 5 fresh names at the top yes i would like chelsea to win and i think over the year we will but whats going on just now is great very refreshing

Had to have the last word on this.....

Deanster.... Sidwell came from Arsenal..... Get your Football annuals out my boy, Arsenal let Sidwell go and Reading took him.. Thats wher he learned that limited ability that failed at Arsenal would succeed at Reading where the prime consideration was 90 minute mobility......

As for Villa fans saying they outclassed Chelsea - I suggest you get off the pop. Chelsea are still in 2nd gear this season and a move up one more would have sorted Villa out. O'Neill has bought well and I think they'll improve to top 6, but will still be a few points short of Chelsea - and maybe more than 10 points if we ditch the dross in January and get the real contenders in (Defoe or McCarthy and Lahm or Chimbonda ......still possibly Alves!)

Also Villians, beware MNBA - they are hefty on the old interest and charge too readily for late payment....... Not sure what credit limit Randy has given you but it must be creaking with the likes of a Fulham centreback joining. He will end up being a liability....... Zat is certain (pass a splif. someone)
