Chelsea have shipped far more goals than usual by this stage of the season. This looks to be a pretty open race. Five points is far from insurmountable. The return of Saha makes United again look ominous. Don't get too complacent, ABU fans.

Dude, if you knew your footballing history Sunderland is one of the oldest clubs in the country and in the early years the dominated the sport.

Go look it up. It's not really fair to say they don't have a history when they really do! A big one at that!

I'm not a Sunderland by the way either.

I hope all the ABU whingers were watching United being denied a penalty for a hand ball involving - oh the irony - Wes Brown this afternoon.

Difference between us and the likes of Spurs is that we get are heads down and win the game by scoring.



New boy Tevez started with Anderson (a midfielder making is debut) up front.

Ronaldo - out.

Rooney - out.

Ole - gone.

Neville - out.

Saha - finally back and didn't it show!

United grinding out victories with key players missing.

Dear oh Dear United Since Birth, you seem to have a bit of an inferiority complex there.

7-1 against Roma, very nice. Remind me what happened when Utd played AC Milan? Scraped a win at OT and got ripped a new one away as I recall. Even we put up a better fight than that in the final.

Yeah Derby are bottom of the table whipping boys, and we did exactly to them what needed to be done. Unlike you lot against City, Portsmouth and Reading - weren't they crushed 3-0 today by West Ham?

Berethorn, if we'd have been as rested as you lot against Milan it'd have been a different story. Our entire defence was either crocked or out. Milan - like you lot - were entirely focussed on Europe.

Liverpool are meant to be concentrating on the league this season, manager said that if they get the investment they'll go for it: they did and so far so good.

Let's see how you go on when the injuries start piling up; will you grind out results like Utd?

Why with all the smug statements from the scousers? and the references to matches lost last year? Regardless, united are managing to grind out results whilst playing poorly and without their flair players and with all the injuries.
