Marseille is sure to be a busy place this autumn, as France's second city hosts six World Cup matches at the Stade Velodrome.

Thousands of rugby fans set to descend on the city, and we want you to help us compile a guide to everything a visitor needs to know about Marseille.

As the country's biggest port, the city is bound to be a lively and colourful place, so we want to hear your suggestions, recommendations and advice for how to have a good time there. Where are the best places to eat? Where will fans be congregating before the games? What are the best places to sit in the stadium - for atmosphere, and for the view?

If you know the city and have information you want to pass on to your fellow fans, to make the most of their trip, then please contribute here.

We are staying outside of Marseille in a fishing port called La Ciotat on the riviera. Lets face it, when you go to the south of France who wants to hang around in the city? There are good rail connections to Marseille on the Marseille Toulon route, and I believe bus connections are good too. The hotel we are staying in is about 50 Euros a night for a single room. What could be better, sitting outside a lil French restaurant supping wine, enjoying the food, and of course the rugby.
