Someone made me laugh on another forum when they said, 'If Jacobson hadn't broken his leg, then Bowyer would have probably done it in training anyway'.

Im sorry but its been killing me all day about what Curbishley has said. Yes he may be frustrated about what has happened but there was and still is no need to for him to hit out at Jacobson like that. For starters IT WAS AN ACCIDENT!! Get over it Curbs. 2nd, Curbs is a high figure in football and he should know better to express his feelings like that in public. Its disappointing to see a manager under pressure like what he already is in as he has spent millions on players and already struggling. Blaming a accident which happened yesterday will be his excuse for being relegation battlers or either being sacked.

I would also like to add how disrespectful Curbs were last night when interviewed live on Sky towards the gas and towards the carling cup. He stated that 'unfortunately we have to play these games'. What an ass. Yeah we might be 2 divisions lower Curbs but teams in our div and the league below has beat several times in past few years in cups so dont disrespect clubs of our size. We gave you a good much match. And to disrespect the cup as well is so bad. These games can help the lower leagues financially which is what teams need. Look at Wrexham as an example in past few years.
Curbs sort it out mate. get your act together and stop blaming our player and blame yourself. did you have to pick your strongest team?????? no.

very frustrated 1883gashead.

Not sure the tackle was that bad. I am a WHU fan and although I am concerned that Dyer will be out for a year (remember Ashton's ankle) I thought, after hearing AC comments, that the Bristol Rovers player kicked out at him. It just looked like a footballing incident. I wish Dyer all the best and hopefully he will return to action soon.

I don't believe it was an accident as some suggest but I also don't think it was vindictive. I do believe the offending Bristol player lashed out perhaps in frustration at Dyer going by him and was therefore guilty of being petulant - not realizing or expecting the outcoming result of his actions as we all know was breaking Dyer's leg but that's football it's a physical game. I can understand Curbishley's comments based on that. Perhaps Jacobson has to examine his conscience in that regard. Plus there must be a certain frustration within the W Ham camp at the minute at all the occuring injuries. Which is bordering on the ridiculous.

to be honest im not surprised at this dyer himself admited that hes injury record is terrable and he is ashamed of it but to be honest i dont no y we signed the guy in the 1st place for especialy for 6 - 8 mill sure dyer is a quik little player but hes not exactly proven any thing over the past couple of seasons if ur goin to spend 6 - 8 mill on players atleased try and go for players such as koumas or eaglez even though i doubt man u would let him go but atleased show some intention tht ur looking to improve the squad playerz like dyer arnt gonna do tht and another thing i recon if curbz keeps on panic buying he will be shown the door this chairman dont take no bull....

Ok firstly to all those bristol rovers fans out there who think they deserved to win, it is as the commentator said.Your two divisions below for a reason, yes on the off chance you will beat a premier team. But you spent ten minutes out of your half in the first half of the match, Bellamy scored two brilliant goals and your team was falling to pieces. The foul on Dyer wasnt intentional it was just ridiculous, how sloppy and unprofessional of a tackle is that especially from a player bristol rover fans are saying is top quality! We slacked in the second half becuase we could afford to and we nearly made it 3-1. So count your blessings that we didnt go full throttle the whole game. Another thing gashead1883, west ham in trouble? being 8th in the league doesnt look bad to me and spending millions and millions? If you look at how much we spent and made we spent no more 6 or 7 million. Nothing compared to other clubs. And we all know the carling cup is a piece of shit compared to the FA, UEFA and the Champions league none of which Bristol Rovers will ever win. So dont resent the fact that West Ham are 2 divisions above, that we have a stadium that is used purely for football not rugby and that we have money to spend. And trooper, firstly you are a complete mug. Dyer was out for nearly all of last season and before that he played brilliantly, hes 8 million prive tag comes for a reason not becuase hes 'just fast'. So to bristol fans and the mug that is trooper, learn how to take defeat properly, dont chat crap and teach your players how to start playing professional football instead of sunday league.

1st of all I must say you are an idiot. No one actually said rovers deserved to win. Yes you did play better. We felt we did play well. 2nd of all Bellamy did not score 2 brilliant goals. He scored 2 goals from sloppy errors from us afteral we are 2 divisions below you. They were errors not skill. Our team was not falling to peices. Without those errors I wonder how long it would take WHU before they buckled under the pressure like the last few seasons going out in comps against lower opposition. 3rd, Get over the tackle on Dyer. Even your own supports says commented saying it was an ACCIDENT. Or are they stupid as well?? Look how many bad unprofessional ridiculous tackles were made by your own players in that match. How did our players react?? Professional. They got up and got on with the game. Not needing the magic sponge. Did you see the Villa vs West ham match? Vills should of had 4 pens as your players were sloppy and unprofessional cheats. Dont bother denying that, as Tevez will come up you cheat. Alos no one has said our player is top quality. If he was, what is he doing playing for us. He has brains as he knows he will get a sicknote like all your players if he was in your team. 4th your guys dont know how to go full throttle. 5th West ham will be relegation battlers with Curbs in charge. Your team may not of been struggling then but they are now. 3 defeats in a row. He is under pressure. 6th I previously mentioned that Curbs has spent millions on buying new players. You replied not the case. You spent well over 15 - 20 million. If that aint millions then I dont know what is. 7th who is 'we all'? Because everyone i know thinks the carling cup is important as its a way into europe, something who wont see for awhile unless you join the intertoto. Rovers of course wont win that or get into europe and if they do wont be for many of year but the fact is a game like rovers vs west ham is financially wht teams our size need. Do you not understand that?? So how can you say I resent that you are 2 division above?? In future please think before commenting as you have made yourself sound pretty stupid. The stadium is a football stadium and we allow a rugby team to use our ground. Extra revenue!! And you talking to Trooper like that was embarrassing for you not Trooper. Dyer was out for most of last season. I should now as i was stupid enough to have him in my dream team. look the fact up for yourself. again think before commenting. His price tag is that for a reason. he is a english international. that is that. there is no cheap english international player. Well i will now leave proving all your points as ridiculous as your chances of being intelligent and Curbs chances of have the west job by the end of the season. Good luck quiteWHUFC as your brains prove you need it.
