Match abandoned at half time at 1 - 0.

Some things in life are far more important than football. My thoughts (as i'm sure are most Forest fans) are with Clive Clark & his family. I hope it isnt to serious & he recovers well & quickly.

doubt that'll stop the divers, being able to fool a ref is as much a top pro's game as good ball skills...glad to see clive is doing well and hope he makes a full recovery, i agree these lads are being pushed harder and harder they remind me of human racehorses (hope that makes sense)

Rylandsred I call it as I see it. Its not the first time fans in that block have been involved in throwing incidents now is it.

So once you can excuse but two or three times come on.
Surely your club can do something about it.

It seems that Clive may be on the road to recovery, although we may not know for sure until he is out of hospital, which may not be for some weeks yet.

I don't give a damn about Forest or their fans right now, or the appalling actions of our own chairman.

All that matters now is Clive's well-being. The thoughts of all true FOXES will be with him and his family.

Any thoughts of him recovering to a point where he can resume his career are a very long way away right now.

All the very best wishes to Clive for a speedy recovery and my thoughts are with him and his family. I grew up in the same village in Ireland as Clive's family - Newtownmountkennedy Co. Wicklow so am totally shocked at the news, I am 12yrs older than Clive so dont know him personally he would have been 7yrs old when I left for London- but I knew his older sisters and brother and parents. Regarding rivarly in sports - healthy banter and slagging of other teams is okay but this is a young mans life and is more important that a game of football or boos from fans because the game didn't continue. I still remember the 1987 FA Cup Final (I was 18) between Spurs and Coventry and I watched it with my brother (both Spurs fans) in the Townhouse pub in Newtown and Clive Clarkes father Patsy was in there and hes a fanatical Coventry fan, so we had the craic that day and needless to say me and the bro lost a small wager to Patsy that day. Its true you have rivalries but it can also bring people together and inspire great moments of craic. Clive I hope you are back on your feet soon and I dont know why Roy Keane didnt play you much at Sunderland as you seemed to have a cracking game against Crystal Palace the other week...ah but sure Roys a Cork boyo and he probably can't handle the fact that Leinster men are the best !

Are cases like this happening more often? If so why? Is it just that more football gets reported in this country now, so we here about cases like Antonio Puerta, or is there something that clubs are missing, or more worryingly is it something that players are taking more regularly? Could there be a link to energy drinks - ingredients like Taurine and Glucuronolactone - pain killers, or supplements. Both occur naturally in the body but there are links to health problems if they are taken in supplements or other energy drinks
