Dimitar who?

Premier League Tottenham Hotspur
comment on the article

Berbatov is mince. Looks totally uninterested.

He might score still though!!! But at the moment he looks like a passenger?

And how bad are Man Utd???? This could be a relegation 6 pointer!!!!

I rate berbi as one of spurs best forward they have for many a season and after watching him play against man u it was a shame he did not score because his skill in the box is second to none wait till he starts scoring he won't stop

Lazy, lazy, lazy....and it hasnt even got to winter yet. As soon as the gloves go on, say bye bye to Berbatov's effort until the spring.

Robbie runs himself into the ground to try and give the team the best opportunity to score. He creates, scores and can help defend. And his enthusiasm rubs off on others...playing with Berbatov would send you to sleep!!

Berbatov reminds me too much of Freddie Kanoute and Teddy Sheringham (in his later Spurs days)...hide and seek champions!! The team sheet said they were on the pitch but you never saw them! One or two good shots wide of target is not enough! We need goals and EVERY game counts, not just the few home appearances or UEFA matches he scores in!

I think Berbatov is a great player but I'd rather have Darren Bent in United's tean. I was gutted when you lot bought him instead.

I say this, not because I think Bent is a better player than Berbatov, but because I think Bent would fit in Man U's style of play well. He's the out and out striker United so desperately need and he has a bit of height too.

How about a swap deal Spurs, Bent for Solksjaer!?

For all the steps forward Tottenham have made in the last few years Berbatov was the biggest (even though they didnt know at the time) to sell him would be a huge step backwards.

I would suggest that Tottenham would keep him regardless of any huge bid, however the 25m on top of the players clear intention to eventually leave is a problem. When he says he is happy for now i think that means, ok one more season them im gone.

To be fair to him how much have you increased his derisory £24,000 per week wages by? Im sure he is aware a move to United or other would place him on earning of £80,000 - £100,000 per week.

Prediction: Another impressive season, 13 goals. Summer 2008 22 million pound move to Chelsea or United. Shame.

Berbs always takes a while to get into his stride, don't rush him, we had this last season. Once the UEFA Cup starts up he will be back on all cylinders, and he played pretty well in the Man U game.
I don't know what the board are playing at though, we had a similar start last season(almost exactly the same actually - defeat away on the opening day before two home games where we brush aside a newly promoted side but lose to Everton by two goals before losing 1-0 away to Man U) and they didn't talk of sacking him then - where's the difference? After all, we spent plenty on Berbs and Zokora last season.
I'm not too worried though, if Berbs plays half as well as he did against Fulham last year we'll paste 'em, they're leaking goals badly. C'mon Shrewsbury, dent their confidence some more!

The telling comment from Berbatov was "I'm staying at the club - at least for now."

What the hell does he mean by saying that?

Perhaps his advisors should tell him to shut up, get his head down and score goals.

All I ever see him do is scream like a moany old woman whenever a pass to him goes stray or he gets tackled and fails to win a free kick.

He talked about how much he loved the Spurs' fans cheers last season and obviously wants to be loved.

However I notice he hasn't come out and said this season how poor he has been and apologised for that.

It's true he may leave if we don't get Champions League footie but his future's in his own hands as he's one of the key players who can help the club achieve that - he can't just expect Robbie to fire us into Europe.

Dimitar bebertov is better playing for a team like Arsenal.
where he can show his quality passes and skills.
to me he is just wasting in Spuds with the like of jenas playing along him, no way he can shine. so he show come up to Arsenal where he would get polished!!!!

Why do Arsenal fans hate Jenas so much? He's rubbish!
