I cannot believe that Sammy has picked the same back 4. How Hunt is still getting a game and to completely leave out Faye ?? Whats going on. Midfield looks a bit stronger and I hope that Diouf and Anelka silence the critics today. Come on white men, come on Sammy ( please).

liverpool fan... just wondering bout danny guthrie. hes at bolton on loan and he was amazing for southampton last season... but he never seems to get a game at bolton - i thought he was supposed 2 be a regular in ur side this season - hes never even on the subs bench...explain? injured?

Guthrie isn't ready for first team Premiership football yet. He's playing for the reserves and doing quite well. He scored with a cracking 30-yard volley in midweek.

Gerald Cid made some basic errors again today, but luckily other players bailed him out. He is not good enough for the premiership, and that has been my opinion of him in all of the four games I have seen him play. Nicky Hunt had a good game, but let's not get carried away, we know his limitations. Samuel is getting better with every game though.

Diouf and anelka did not play like players that wanted to leave. End of!
Fantastic game and they were the best two on the field by a long way. Also even with Readings back line we'd have destroyed them with Anelka and Diouf.
MOM-Both of them. Anelka payed brilliantly and made some great runs to pull players away scored the crucial second goal and set up the third.
Diouf was everywhere beating men making brilliant passes to Anelka and crossed for the first.

Alonso impressed after I thought he had a poor first few games for us he pulled through and contested every ball.
Jussi looked a lot more confidence winning the ball in the air every time.
Meite was excellent cleaning up with some fantastic tackles and unlucky booking.
Samuel is just getting better and better.
Hunt and Cid had room for improvement but were better.
All of the midfield were closing down well and were good both attacking and defending.
Also nice to see a goal for Braathen!

Although I don't like Diouf, he and Anelka won that game for Bolton, against a team who held Man U and gave Chelsea a run for their money.
A welcome 3 points, but you need to do it again next game.

Hunt and Cid look vulnerable , like to see re, turn of O'Brien , if Faye stays wouls shore up our defence . Acid test will be next Saturday against Everton .
